Okay, I couldn't find any threads on this topic, so if there is...whoops.

The one thing about this episode I don't get is how Vamp Willow is there, when she got staked in the end of The Wish. She should be...dusty...

But generally I like the episode, what does anyone else think...?
 
If I remember correctly, you should see how Vamp Willow gets pulled out of her dimension right before she gets staked, and then in the end when they put her back, you see the other dimension again and she gets staked.
 
I want to add to the questions. How did Angel start to belive he had a higher purpose when he never saw Buffy. Also why no Spike,Dru or Darla there in Sunnydale
 
I think angel thought he had a purpose because he still saw buffy in L.A. SO and knew that she would go to sunnydale, but it changed after he had known so he still went, atleast thats what i think, as for there being no spike dru i think it has to do because buffy was not there and he didnt go looking for her there. I dont know about Darla
 
Spike came to Sunnydale to heal Dru.The energy of the hellmouth and all. I would love to have seen a mini series dealing with the whole "The Wish" timeline
 
I think the "parrallel universe" is really awesome, I wish they hadn't killed Vamp Willow and Xander, 'cause they would of been cool...
 
This is hands down one of the funniest episodes of buffy history. Just thought I would add that lol

well, vamp willow "died" in 'the wish' and then returned here in 'doppelgangland', so you never know...there could be a guest appearance of either of them in the s8 comics 🙂

Vamp!Xander is as sexy as hell! i love him! lol, that's all i have to say...

no, seriously, i love the whole 'Wishverse' thing. there are so many possiblities to explore.
like, where exactly were Spike and Dru when all this was happening in Sunnydale?
how exactly were Willow and Xander sired?
loads of questions...hopefully some people can provide some answers someday. 😉
 
When it comes to Siring Xander and Willow my pic would be Darla. Have her saduceXander and turning him just as Angel stakes her. Xander would then bite Willow sence he loves her
 
There are a million possibilities...lol.

I don't like Buffy in the other universe though, she seems like...mean...lol

yeah. no matter who sired whichever of them that got sired first, that one would sire the other one, for that reason. it could have been either one that was first, though...if that made any sense 🙂

When Angel saw Willow in the library and goes "Hi Willow" and does a double take-LOL

I was always curious as to what the parallel Faith would be like. If Buffy was sort of bad girl-ish and unfriendly, would Faith be more tightly laced and proper, like our Buffy?

there is that whole wishverse fanfic thing to check out in 'intro to the watchers diaries'...thats the BB perspective on what faith would be like, as well as other things in that verse. did you look at the previews?
I love this episode, but not nearly as much as some people do. I think it's a bit overrated. I would, however, like to see a sort of mini-series dealing with the parallel time. Too bad the show could have done a mini-arc of episodes dealing with it. Oh well...
 
^^ Yeah, it would have been cool, I would have loved to see ALL of the characters like that, like every main-ish character from each season, it would have been cool.
