yeah that would be interesting.. if buffy would have never been in sunnydale she probably wouldn't have died.. faith would have never been called. she might have ended up in prison anyway, lol.
 
Lol. It would be strange in the parallel world, nothing would be the same, 'cause like there'd be no Tara or Anya since Will and Xander were together, and there'd be like half the main cast missing, I wonder if Dawn would of still come into it...hmm there are so many questions about the other dimension lol.
 
anya might kind of "be there" as anyanka though, because she was the one who granted the wish, and could clearly go there aware of the real world like she did in the ep 'the wish', so she could pop in and check up on stuff occasionally 🙂.
 
Yeah, but I don't like Anya as Anyanka lol...she's alll....evil, obviously lol
 
Yeaaah, I know what you mean, lol, it would be strange though, they shoulda done like more episodes in that world, it was cool 🙂 lol
 
maybe in some strangely weird occurence, anya would become human like she did, but end up in the parallel world instead of the real one. then maybe xander or willow would vamp her and she'd end up hanging with them anyway 🙂. pretty coincidental wishful thinking, eh? :silly:
 
Lol, next your gonna tell me, then the whole gang become vampires, so they're all still friends, but they're evil not good...ahhh I so wish there was a whole mini series of this lol.
 
hehe, i wouldnt quite go so far as that. especially since some of them, like buffy, angel, cordy, and oz, would already be dead in the 'not being vampires' sense :silly:.

another thing id like to see about that world is the environment now that the master has got his machine working. clearly, he did, because he killed buffy and the 'white hats', so there was no one to stop him. so would sunnydale be any different than when cordelia first showed up in it? what would that be like? i certainly wouldnt want to live there, ill say that 😀.
 
I loved this episode, Ally really shines!
definately one of my favourite eppy's of the season... especially since it has one of the best willow quotes that you can use in everyday conversation 🙂

and kudos for K's choice! great performance! I remember being so proud of them, before them Belgian music was represented abroad by Technotronic and Pump up the Jam.. I still can't watch that video 😛.
well thats not entirely true there's always Jaques Brel... but how many peeps know him?
anyway, "Virgin state of mind" is still one of my favourite K's Choice songs

I always imagined that Faith would be more or less the same. I figured that she would still have the crappy home life that made her who she was, but she might not get her Slayer calling until years later (since Buffy probably never died in Wishverse).

I've always sort of imagined my own interpretation of events. I can imagine a semi-post-apocalyptic Sunnydale with Giles and his Alterna-Scoobies fighting the good fight, while Angel does his best to do the same in the shadows. I can imagine the Mayor amassing an army to fight back against the Master (considering it messes with his plans for ascension and all that) and other demon factions trying to move in on the territory. I think the universe has a lot of storytelling possibilities myself. I'd love to write it as maybe a novel or comic series, but I figure it'd never happen.
 
^^ I started thinking about it sometimes. In my opinion, I think a lot of the "Big Bads" (The Mayor, Adam, Glory etc) would never have come, with the Master still at large.

Also what with Buffy, Angel etc being killed, it wouldn't be the same. Faith probably wouldn't have been called, since Kendra was after Buffy, so when Buffy died, Kendra would be next, and unless SHE died too, Faith might never have been called.

Presumably, Kenda dies eventually. I think at some point Faith is still called, perhaps merely a few years removed from when she was supposed to be.

You're probably right about Glory, although I could see the Mayor trying to take back his town from the Mayor in time for his Ascension, and I could see Adam being created specifically as a weapon to use against the Master.
 
I just watched this episode again , and Angel told Buffy, "I came here to meet you," when she released him from the cell, so he had seen her in LA before that. The two dimensions, or worlds, or whatever, might have split when Buffy went to Cleveland instead of Sunnydale. I got the impression that she left there and had been working her way West to California, possibly because the Cleveland hellmouth wasn't as active as the Sunnydale one was (being completely overrun with vampires seems to be pretty active to me), possibly because the Master's escape from his confinement went unopposed.

Another thing that I noticed in this episode that I had missed before: there is one scene, when Willow is torturing the "puppy" when she seemed to have fangs with a completely human face. Was it my imagination, or did someone else notice?
 
^Thanks for pointing that out! I'm watching that episode on Saturday (at the Slay-A-Thon) and I'm totally going to look for it!

I really liked this episode. It's a good one for season 3. I always enjoy watching this episode as well as The Wish. (The episodes seemed like two-parters which they probably were supposed to seem like.)

I really liked seeing evil Willow and good Willow at the end saying goodbye (although...it depressed me a little when evil Wil was sent back and then quickly killed..)

I can't wait to see this episode again very soon! 🙂

but you're question about where's dru and spike it's kinda tricky...
that's something to really think about...

That would be interesting to see, like a whole 'Battle Of The Big Bads' or something.
