I've read them. All. I must say it's not like reading rubbish but I don't get much emotions like in the tv series...it's still like reading it just for the sake of the plot. I don't know if I'm very good at explaining myself

You're pretty spot on. Season 8 is emotionally flat. I think it's because of the convoluted plot but mostly because of the ambiguity. It feels like the writers were afraid of creating anything definite so they deliberately left everything they could open to interpretation. Most of the time I don't understand what's going on in the heads of Buffy, Willow and Xander. What are their dreams and goals, who do they love, why do they make particular choices. I don't understand these characters any more and sorry, I'm not going to guess or think up my own explanation, that's not my job as a reader. Season 8 just didn't make me care. Not because it's a comic - I cried just about every time Katchoo did

because I could understand her. Buffy? Not so much. Giles' death? Oh please, how many times can "Buffy" play the same, tired, old cliché?
