Did you like them together?

I really liked them together! I thought they had great chemistry and their kiss was amazing. I loved their appreciation of each other while having that Cordy/Xander banter. They fit together so well and were really growing into each other. I really liked it.
 
I agree. It was a shame that he had to die. I think they had enough in the way of differences to keep things interesting, but enough in the way of mutual understanding and respect (and chemistry) to make a relationship workable. Alas, we'll never know.

No, I never really liked them together. I am not sure why. I like each of them seperately tho.
 
Cordy / Doyle were great together, probably because we saw so little of there relationship since he ended up sacrificing himself :cry:

I liked Doyle and Cordy when they had their time, I don't really care though that the relationship ended when and how it did because they went on to do other great stories from that.

I don't get bogged down with the love relationships like alot of people do, I like all the different facets of all the relationships and what they bring to the story.

What about nina and Angel then??/ Im just curious on your thoughts on this topic since everytime someone brings up Nina they cast her down like a nobody. =(



Anyways, Cordy and Doyle were cute together but I dont like to think of them as anything else but great friends. I think she's better of with Angel, or the grown up more adult Xander.**cant believe i said that**

For what it's worth, I always liked Nina, and felt that she had the potential of becoming a very interesting character. Possibly if the show hadn't been canceled so abruptly, we might have seen her part expanded and developed. The problem with her, I think, was that she came too close on the heels of Cordelia, and the whole Angel/Nina thing was just too quick. It took Angel several seasons to develop any real romantic feelings for Cordy, and then even longer to try to do anything about those feelings.

Nina comes along, and they're all hot and sweaty before the season;s over. A lot of people just can't see Angel doing that so soon after losing Cordy, and then finding out about Buffy and the Immortal. Even if she were to only b a transitional fling or a short lived romance like Gunn and Fred, she could still have been expanded into a helpful member of Angel's team. Maybe with the new Season ^ stories, something like that will happen.

I thought Doyle and season 1 cordy were so cute together, I thought they could have had a really strong relationship, in season 1. No idea about after that though, but it would have been cool to see. But me personally, the only character death I wouldn't change was his. The way he died was so heroic and sad, it was the only way I would have been okay with him dieing. Sucks we loose him for 4 and a half seasons though... Anyway, I loved Doyle/Cordy together!!
 
Cordy and doyle has good chemistry but in my opinion I think it was a great story that he sacrificed himself.. I think if the relationship carried on it might have gotten boring perhaps..?

Ummmm no.
I have no idea WHAT you are basing this pointless comment on but it surely isn't the combined 12 years of fantastic storytelling and genuinely intriguing interpersonal relationships.

I don't dislike Nina. I hated the timing of the relationship and it felt a little forced but I would have been willing to forgive that had the prooposed season 6 gone a head with her taking a more prominent role and maybe the inclusion of Oz.

I don't know if it was official or wild speculation but a rumour at the time was that Oz was to be brought in to help Nina control the wolf.

This, I have to say, would have been interesting especially if it was Oz vs Angel in the Nina love stakes.

It would have been awesome to see Oz again!!!! Doing anything, really. Getting Nina, giving her to Angel, running back to Willow 😉 haha I would have loved it! Oh no!! We are varying of topic ^_^
 
Yes Al! I totally agree!!!! But i also heard that Oz was to come with the helping Nina. Willow casts a spell to bring back Fred but Illyria still says. So Season 6 would of been amazing!

hehehe - would have been amazing though in my Fanfic I used Dawn/Illyria/Glory to get Fred at least into Heaven

Damn! it would have been amazing! I feel kinda cheated now! cuz After The Fall aint exactly inspiring me!
