Anyone want to chat about Doyle?

I loved him. He was really funny, but there isn't a place for him at AI any more. The show is much more different now to how it was when he was in it🙂

i am a total Doyle worshipper!!!! i miss him so much i did hear a rumor that
he was going to return, but i don't know if that was true or not!!!

i wonder what that spoiler could be, hmmmmm doesnt take a genius maybe remove a little bit more could have helped. Anyways I dont like him any where near as much as WWP he was about average and never left much of an impression on me. If he came back it would be ok just as long as WWP isnt a bad guy for too long.

I liked the Cordy/Doyle romance angle. They had good chemistry together, especially when they argued! It would be a bit weird if he came back though as most of the gang don't even know him - just Cordy & Angel...

Though Doyle's great character I don't see him coming back, well maybe as a ghost as in a guest-spot, but indeed only Cordy and Angel know him. He was madly in love with Cordy so if he comes back now, what will he do, now that she's with Angel?

doyle and cordy or angel

that is a brain teaser, what would doyle do? ? ?
personally i prefer Cordy and Doyle rather than Angel, for me it will always be angel and buffy.

the chemisty was too good between doyle and cordy, but they were never given a chance to try out thire relationship, but if he does come back for cordy, and she goes with him what about Groo, cordy made him leave so she could be with angel, what would happen if she left angel for doyle? ? ?

i dont know i love Cordy and Groo and Cordy and Doyle, eather one would make me happy, but i really want doyle to return

I too enjoyed the Doyle character for the short time he was with us. I really thought that he and Cordelia would get together.

However, with the sad news announced today that Glenn Quinn has passed away the dream of Doyle returning is no longer a reality 🙁

You can pay your respects in the following thread RIP Glenn Quinn

I only just heard about it today as I haven't got onto this board for a while. It's so sad. RIP Glen.

I hope they do something to remember Doyle too, although he was only with us for 9 episodes he made a major impact & he's always been missed.

He was such a gifted actor on Roseanne and as Doyle in Angel. It's a great loss.

I'm really going to miss him. He's character was great in Angel and I was mad when he wasn't on the show anymore. Boy, I'm going to miss him. 🙁

I'm not going to enjoy this christmas knowing how close Glenn was to it before he passed on,and that he'll be missing out on it 🙁

That would indeed be a very good thing to do, but isn't that always done if the character is still in the show, while the actor is allready dead, if it's released after his death?

They should have one of those epis when they found out that he's dead, the character, that they have GOOD memory flashbacks. i would love to see that. Or at the end of a Angel episode a little put together video clip about Glenn.

Well, no flashback episode, but they did dedicate an episode to him. I like Doyle, I was not pleased when he was removed from the show so suddenly.

Does anyone know why they did that? It seemed like something must have come up pretty suddenly for his to leave like that.

On the commentary to Welcome to the Hellmouth, Joss says he planned to have Jesse in the credits and kill him off right away, to throw people off. He didn't do it then because it was too time consuming, but he said he did it with Angel (but everyone got mad at him for doing it). I assume he meant Doyle, so it tells me that Doyle was always meant to die early on, and he was in the credits to throw people off.
