Well? I think OMWF is technically a better musical, but Dr. Horrible is like a totally different world packed in 45 min. (Which I like)
 
Oh, what a choice.

For sheer musical ability and fun, I had to go with Dr. Horrible. They could sing better, for one thing, and it wasn't quite as angsty as OMWF.
 
i really liked them both, but in such different ways! its hard to compare one episode in the sixth season of a show with established characters where they're suddenly singing for no reason to one online musical, which is awesome, and also still joss-style. hehe, i dont even know where to place my vote! 🙂
 
It depends on what you mean. If you're talking about which one had better songs, I'd have to say it's a tie. They both had some brilliant songwriting and talented vocalists, so it's difficult to choose one over the other. But I went with Once More, With Feeling because the plot is better (not to mention the fact that they managed to make just as much, if not more development in an episode filled with songs as they do in a regular season-wide arc episode, which is VERY rare) and we had already grown to know and love the characters. Also, Joss didn't hire the actors in Buffy based on their musical ability, whereas in Dr. Horrible, he hired people that he knew could act and sing pretty well.

I liked Dr. Horrible more.. but only because I just watched it a a day or two ago! Hehe! I'm sure if I saw my beautiful Anya singing again I'd choose Once More with feeling. So they're both equally amazing.
 
OMWF.....I had more time to get attached to the characters. Plus, no death.

Although, it lacked a certain "Nathan Landing On Top Of The Van"....but still.
 
They're both equally amazing. I love OMWF and i love Dr. Horrible. They're both musicals but they're completely dif. things! 😉
 
I voted both, but I am more fond of Dr. Horrible. It's new and original. I like Once more with feeling, but seriously!
Dr. Horrible is really great. It's funny, adorable, and moving. I am having a kick watching it!
Nathan and Neil are so great.
 
I love them both but I have to go with Once More With Feeling because it is about the characters that i love and has more, well, feeling and emotion. It means more to me.
 
I do love OMWF but I went with Dr Horrible on this one, not just for the musical tracks but overall I preferred the way it was put together, it had its funny points, its dramatic and its heartfelt moments.

Vocal ability NPH is fences in front but as Crazy Flakes pointed out the cast was put together with a musical in mind whereas OMWF was not. The more I watch OMWF the more I love all the songs, but the more I watch Dr Horrible the more I get attached to the characters which for me is a big thing.

As much as I like Dr. Horrible, "Once More, With Feeling" is my favorite episode and I think that it's pure genius. Dr. Horrible does come in close, though.
 
OMWF, because I've actually never watched Dr.Horrible. Only because I like Buffy and Angel doesn't mean I have to religiously watch everything Whedon was involved in.
 
^True.. I don't watch Firefly or serenity... But really.. I think you should watch Dr. Horrible. It's surprisingly amazing. It's funny, and really touching. You should give it a chance. I am glad I did. (Wouldn't miss it for the world, now)
 
I love them both. A part of me is more apt to say Dr. Horrible but maybe because its newer to me, i only finally watched it a couple of weeks ago and have been watching it over and over (usually on my ipod) since. So i think because it's new material thats why im taking to it more than OMWF right now... but OMWF is also on my ipod and much beloved. So i think after the excitement of the newness of Dr. Horrible wears off, it'll be equal.
