Drama between the characters = Hilarious? - Spoilers

The thing I love mostly about S4 is the way Angelus plays on everyones weaknesses and toys with them.

I don't know why but when I'm rewatching S4 and having knowledge about the whole drama of Jasmine, etc. I find Angelus insulting Cordy actually funny. All his snide remarks about Cordy ("she looks good on everyone") when he's talking to Connor.

Because I know it's actually Jasmine at this point it seems like he's basically calling HER a massive "she who sleeps around" and I feel like she deserves all that and more. I don't know it sounds dumb but this is just one of my quirks about Angel.
 
I don't think Cordy "sleeps around" at all. After all, its pretty much implied that she waits until after HS to sleep with anyone (whereas, all the Core three lose their virginities in HS). She won't sleep with Xander. There's only that one guy she sleeps with in L.A. - the one who ended up inpregnating her - and she obviously regrets it. After that fiasco, she wasn't with anyone I know of until Groo came along, and that was apparently "true love" (well, at the time).

Yeah, lol. I don't know, though. I don't neccesarily think she wanted to sleep with him, do you? Or I think it would have happened. I think she had affectionate feelings for him, boyfriendish feelings - but in terms of wanting to rip his clothes off? Nah. That was Faith's job. 😉

Poor Xander. He was the only of the Core Four whom didn't lose his virginity in a committed relationship.

Angel, though....Cordy was sure attracted to him. You could tell.
 
Of the core four? I always thought of the core four as Buffy, Willow, Xander, and Giles. And do we know when Giles lost his virginity? Seems like I'd remember that as it seems an odd thing for him to bring up.

Well, the person who made the comment said core 3, presumably referring to the three that we saw going through high school. But since you brought up Giles, let's go with that one, too. It is established that when he was younger, he was a junkie, getting high by summoning demons. It is also established in band candy that the adults were reverting to acting "like teenagers", and when Giles is affected by the band candy, he has sex with Joyce...on the hood of a police car...twice. So we can probably infer from that episode that he was sleeping with people when he was a teenager, although we didn't see that time period of his life directly.

lol Oops. I meant Willow, Xander, and Buffy. Sorry, I was probobly doing something else when I was typing this.

I'd disagree about that being a bad thing, though. 😛

It only gets sad how Faith gives him the brush off (not to mention the strangles) afterwards... but I see that more as Faith's personal disturbedness than as a problem of non-committal sex in general.
