i know we have has this thread before.. and i'm sorry if there is one now that i haven't seen 😉(can someone please delete this thread if there all ready is one? : penguin: )

well, i was just wondering, what is your dream job? all the lovely people of the BB. what do you wanna do with the most of your life, or what do you wanna do(and why can't you do it if you can't) and if you allready have a job, and is all "grown up"(in age and career ways) what o you do, do you like it and was it what you wanded ? 😉 :kiss2:
 
I wanna be a counsellor. I just wanna help people who have had unfortunate pasts like myself. That's my dream job.

And if I can't have that job... then I want to be President of the USA! (I'm already on my way... most of the BB will be voting for me!)
 
Honestly, I always wanted to be a member of the filth. Yup, a cop. Which is wierd considering my slightly hippyish leanings, but I just always wanted to stand for something, I suppose, and aside from all the corruption/ power trips guards go on, they stand for people. Alas, my eyesight is quite bad, and my local would-be recruitment officer seems unable to tell me whether or not I'm disqualified, or if I should get laser eye surgery or what.

Other than that, I'd love to design computer games for a living. Something creative and lovingly made like Silent Hill...
 
We haven't done a thread like this for a while so why not keep this one going? (that was an example of the Pointy modly thought processes btw🙂)

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again - where does one obtain the millionaire playboy application form? That would be my dream gig. But I want it to be inherited millions not cash I had to work hard for - that'd be no fun 😉

Realistically tho' - I always wanted to be a DJ (radio rather than club) - actually that is still pretty unrealistic. OK then, virtually anything that isn't my current job 🙂
 
I wanna make movies. I'm not sure how and what kind of movies though... I'm kinda in this place right now where I don't know what to do with myself and my life.
But writing, making movies and beeing cool sound kinda good.

Jill_V: i think that being a cop(well a cop that don't break the law him/her self and is not corropted) is a very good line of work! my lil sis and my boyf wants to be cops... i hope you'll get to d that!!

doppelgänger: it does seem very interesting to be in that kind of buizz!

I saw my dream job on Tv last week.... there is this pleace in Siera leone(Sp?) called tacugama, nick named; forest of hope(it was on the animal planet), it is this place were they take in and take care of chimps that have been hurt, or kept as pets, or just been captivated and so on... it was such an inspireing job to see in action and to seee how these Chimps benefited from this place that was made for them and their wellbeing;SADLY i'm alergic to animals... pretty much all kinds... i think it's the first job i've seen in a wgile and acually have wanted to do....

what i am doing is studing Criminology at the univ. of Oslo. so i'm gonna be a criminologist with no ide which way i shall turn in that field.... i think maybe i wanna be working with Racism(sp?), even though it's not really directed in side criminology, i think it's still sorta like a crime.. a human rights crime(why should people be judged and even bothered cause of skin or ethnisety or religion? it is unfair, and it has caused people their lifes...)

I want that too, write, be successful. I also want to make movies, direct or something.. Write a script together with someone maybe.. And I want to be an actress, I really do.. Or anything with movies or theatre.. And no, nothing of this will come true, cause, it just won't..
 
I would love to be in the forensic field. It has always fascinated me on the technology used to determine how someone died and solve the crime (have read one too many Patricia Cornwell novels). Other than that, I pretty much am doing my "dream" job, opticianry... dealing with how people see and working with them (making glasses) is rather fun.

yeah the forensic field is fasinating... i would love to do that as well... it seems fun, but to do that in norway you have to go to the police academy.. and i dont wanna do that(LOl and i wouldn't get in ;) caus ei can't drivbe a car.)

I would love to do that... Puls I get to know a little bit about it Cuz My Uncle is in the forensic field.
But I would also like to do someting in the Law field..

Well, I am a Senior Technician for a retail pharmacy. And even though the benefits and pay aren't shabby, I wouldn't wish this job on my worst enemy. I'd really love to be into auto restoration or even an auto mechanic. I love cars, especially classics! And I would love to be able to beautify or fix something all day long. You know, be able to stand back and say "I did that." I guess it wouldn't be the most glamorous occupation, but there it is! :flower:
 
I'd never want to be an actor, but model maybe? Hm photographing with the most beautiful women in the world doesn't seem to bad.

But other than that I'd want to be an investment banker or corporate lawyer. Blame it on my upbringing, but I'm obsessed with being wealthy. Maybe retiring at 40.

I sometimes have unreal expectations.
 
Since for the last 8 months I've been trying to become a police officer, I guess at this point in time it would be my dream job. Not just a beat cop though, I'd like to be an investegator of some kind.
 
My dream job is to be an Actress(broadway or tv). I also want to be A Cannadian Rock artist that dresses like Egyptian Gods and sings in German. We would be the best band ever! Or a normal american rock band. Because I have, and probably never will be, unless I marry a canadian, a canadian.😀
 
My dream job is a horse trainer...but with something like that you need something to fall back on...so I've been really interested in either becoming a Criminal or Medical Malpractice Attorney...but I'm not sure I wanna be locked into the hours that are usually associated with that career choice...I need time for my horses...lol
 
I too would LOVE to be a successful writer!!!! I can't imagine anything more intiguing then getting into a characters mind...and getting paid for it 🙂
