Does anyone use this program? When I create a new layer and I type in it, it makes the background behind my text white. My page background is black. Does anyone know how to fix that?

If I remember correctly.. and it has been a long time since I used it.. when you select a layer it makes the background 'white' to demonstrate the layer you are using. It goes into a 'layer' mode.. there could or should be some arrows at the top left of the screen to show the layer you are typing on and what is behind it. You can click these arrows to 'layer down' to previous. I have not used it in a coons age but I recall it being something like that. (thats why flash killed me, by the way)

I think it's a setting you have to apply at some point, like "apply this to the tag "background" for the background to be in the good colour. I had this problem once at school and that what I had to do, I kept trying to have the good colour, I was always selecting the good colour and everything but when I was clicking on okay nothing had changed, and the teacher said it was because I had choose I don't remember what setting instead of "apply to a tag". After I picked that setting, I would chose the tag I wanted the setting to apply to (header, background, title...) and it was okay!
