Dressing up as Buffy for Halloween

Hey Guys!
This Halloween I want to be the amazing Buffy Summers! 😀

I bought a blond wig yesterday.



and this shirt



Now my current idea is to wear these items and a leather jacket, pair of jeans, cross necklace and a claddagh ring.

I really hope I can find a stake, because I couldn't be Buffy without it.

Now my question is if you guys have any pictures of colored Buffy fans who also dressed up as our favorite female hero.

Just take a piece of broom handle and whittle a point on it, maybe with some red paint on the pointy end. (I know, there wasn't any blood when Buffy dusted vamps, but only the real Buffy fans will realize that, and everyone else will expect it)

Sounds like a fun costume! And I agree with WA, making your own stake will probably be easiest. 🙂

I agree making your own stake may be easiest if you have the tools and the skills, but there are probably memorabilia sites out there that sell stakes as well.
Making your own is way cooler though.

When I went as Buffy years ago, I bought a wooden dial rod from the home improvement store, and the used a saw on one end to make the stake.

So what era Buffy did you go as Boufay? And what era are you wanting to go as Marlie? I have seen alot of Buffy's with the prom dress, leather jacket and crossbow.. it makes for a wicked cool outfit.

I went as season 3 Buffy, cause I actually happened to (beforehand) buy the same jacket that she wore in an ep so I just wore that and grey pants. Cross, claddagh ring. It was like the easiest costume I ever had lol

I either go as season 1 Buffy or I just make my own version (like I described in my first post so shirt with fangs, leather jacket,...)

My stepfather is going to help me to make a stake. He already sawed off a part of our old broomstick.

Alright, the stake is almost finished. It's finally pointy and doesn't look like a mini-baseball bat anymore 😛
My mom is going to paint it with tea, in order to make it a little bit darker.
I'll post a picture when it's finished. 😀

A few Halloweens back I went to a party as Spike and my partner went as Buffy. It was good fun, although more for us as the fans than anyone else I suspect. The wigs were the hardest part. Trying to gel up a wig as Spike was a mess! She went for the simple red and black Buffy outfit with crosses etc. The stake was more like a fence post, hardcore slaying!
