Well you obviously missed the Tony award winner's performance as the wisecracking, hard-boiled detective with a heart of gold Melody Simm in Tim Minear's cancelled series The Inside, or her portrayal of well intentioned, screwed up, lawyer, lesbian, sister, Sharon Tyler in Tim Minear's cancelled series Wonderfalls.
There's a pattern here. Also cast in Drive are Amy Acker from showrunner Tim Minear's time on unjustly cancelled Series Angel, and Nathan Fillion from showrunner Tim Minear's time on the unjustly cancelled series Firefly. An acting collection of "best ofs" from Tim Minear's past career are being assembled for Drive. How can this one possibly fail?
