Driving!!

Ok does anyone have any wierd things they do whilst driving..I have this thing that if a leaf or something flies at my windscreen i jump and close my eyes!! i dont know why but it scares the hell out of me, i was sitting in traffic today and a guy was sitting in a car next to me and a leaf came flying out of nowhere and hit the windscreen and i jumped and the guy started laughing at me..i was soo embarrased.
Also i dont know why but i always have to have my sun visor thing down even if its not sunny or its snowing...and people that im driving with are always flipping it back up and i cant drive with it up!! am i wierd or what.

Does anyone else have any wierd driving habits? like i cant drive without music or i have to be smoking or eating sweets 😀
 
When people get in front of me...I always get scared there gona slow down and im gonna hit em!

When im driving alone I always have to listen to my F4 or Energy cd thats in mandarin chinese and i love it when people stare at me thinking....what the **** is this white girl listening to (im 1/4 chinese) and expecialy when a asian person hears it its even funier since they double take....some hot chinese guy asked me if i knew what they were saying (we were at a red light) and i waid yes and he lauged and asked me to prove it and I told him exactly what they were singing and he was like "Awsome!" HE WAS MEGA HOT!!!

Lol me too, only cus if they pull out in front of me without signaling i drive right up close to them..i know i shouldnt but it really p****s me off and i will probably end up crashing (again) 😀
 
When I'm approaching a traffic light, I'm always afraid that it's going to turn yellow (do you know that if you flash a yellow card/light at most americans they respond with anxious reactions?)... So I always take my foot off the gas pedal when I'm at that indeteminate area between knowing weather to stop or keep going, just in case it does change.
 
I have a habit of leaving my radio on full blast when i get out of the car, so when my mum borrows it she gets the life scared out of her as soon as she turns the ignition! Oh well it might teach her to put fuel in it when she borrows it! Hehee
 
its a good thing to do that...I always speed up and try to run it and by the time i come it turns red and i run a red light instead!! (got 3 tix doing that)
 
I can't drive (Only 13 so kinda not allowed) but I always get really scared when a big lorry heads towards us. OK, it's on the other side of the road but I'm just so scared it's gonna hit us!

LMFAO! Yup...that's my worst thing...I hate that...and it's like once it happens you get stuck in that wierd timing light after light...lol...I usually end up speeding to get out of it.

Akasha, I am right there with you on wierd things flying at the windshield...I always jump...birds like to dive bomb my car...I think they conspire against me...I always break for animals and it's nearly gotten me killed before.

I have to have music on as well...preferably blasting...but my CD player is on the fritz. 🙁 But, rock makes me calmer when I drive.

When I'm a passenger it sometimes bugs people because I'm a people watcher...I'll count how many female drivers VS male drivers are on the road...whos picking their noses...who's rockin' out in their cars...I love watching from afar and not really having to be involved. It's funny to watch what others do when they have no idea someone is watching them.

I gave up hanging my ass out the window quite some time ago so no other wierd things for me to list. 🙂
 
I hate driving, I'm taking driving lessons, I even did the test, but I failed. But I just hate all of it.
 
Yeah, driving tests suck. I got lucky. I just grabbed the book, read through it one night and went the next day and got it. I was so nervous during the driving test though. I sucked at parking but thank God when we pulled in the space right straight ahead was open. Now I just have to try not to run people over...

Actually, I have currently been in four accidents in my 9 years of driving. The first was kinda my fault but the other three were jerks rearending me. The last one was in a parking lot and this old couple pulled out of their spot into my car and pulled a hit and run...I got their licence plate number and the cops found 'em and they said I hit THEM...I was like...yeah...that's why YOU left...I won though...😛
 
I'll start my driving lessons in 2 weeks!! You guys don't even know how lucky you're not to live in my city🙂 Beware!!

Anna8, good luck! We're all pullin' for ya! Have faith! You're certainly more frightening than the driving instructor! LOL... 😉

I do that too! Except I usually get griped out about it later...*frowns* I always have to have music on, and I have a habit of burning rubber from a stoplight or sign.
