Just wanted to share a new discovery I've made with you guys. I could of course just be very slow and everyone else in the world already knows about this but it was news to me and might come in handy for others on here.

If you have an android device then you can get an app called DroidTV. I signed up and they've given me a full free subscription until May next year. Just need an email address, no personal information. Once you've got the app you can record TV episodes to your phone for viewing whenever you wish, no streaming required once it's been downloaded. They've got hundreds of series listed on there. New ones including Gotham, Agents of Shield and The Flash. Then old stuff including the full Buffy collection!

Can you only use this on your phone?

Anything using Android as the operating system, so phone or tablet really. Apparently there is also a DroidTV box you can buy. Once you've got the programme you want though you can cast it from the phone or tablet onto your TV. Also the download are MP4 format and can be moved elsewhere for playback, PC or USB stick etc.
