Am I the only one who is completley obsessed with Drusilla? She was the best villian in my opinion, she was nuts and I loved it. Her and Darla made a great team. But does anyone else think she was great? I LOVED HER!

The thing about Drusilla that impressed me the most was just how powerful she turned out to be. The way she acted all the time made her seem almost harmless, something to be dismissed. Then she walked calmly in and slit Kendra's throat without even mussing her hair. She slaughtered a train carload of people single handedly, and she was still hanging around to finish off the conductor. And then there was that psychic ability of hers AND her power of thrall. That must have been rare, since they only showed one other vampire (Dracula( besides her who had it. Just how dangerous is a vampire who can predict the future AND hold you helpless while she kills you! I began to think that Spike wasn't with her as much to protect her as to restrain her. That must've been one HELL of a mob in Prague to do her much harm!

yeah. i'm obsessed with dru as well. i'm watching all the season 2 dvds as we speak just so i can swoon over her more! i love her voice the most hahaha

yeah, I agree the power was pretty amazing. and her voice, all slow-englishy. She was the best. They should do a movie/show/book about what ever happened to dru and what she is up to nowadays, hehe. :: vampire

i absolutely LOVE drusilla. juliet landau portrays her perfectly. i couldn't imagine anyone else doing that role. i thought the way she did her lines all slow, rhythmed sing-songy made them so much better. dru's craziness, whether she's in a weakened state or at full-strength, is just kind of a breath of fresh air from all the other vampires, because you really can't ever expect what she's going to say or do. and what she says always means something important, yet as the audience, alot of the time we can't ever figure it out, and i love when that happens. spike and dru are one of my favorite ships in the buffyverse. they really are a perfect fit with one another. i love when the episodes jump back to the past and show spike & dru together, or all of them (dru, spike, angel, darla) because seeing their interactions with one another is very interesting to watch.

I love Dru. She was my favorite villain. I was glad we didn't find out what happened to her; that means she's still undead somewhere. 🙂

There's something about her that's just eerily mesmerizing. Like someone else said, she's powerful and dangerous and she actually racked up an impressive body count, but everyone just passes her over her like she's not a threat. In a lot of ways, I think the fact that Angel and Buffy and Spike and co. let her live - or unlive - out of respect for the past makes her the scariest baddie of all. She's untouchable, completely free to do whatever damage she pleases.

I always thought a story in which Dru starts a reign of terror would be a good one for an AtS/BtVS crossover episode (or comic or fanfic). I'd like to watch our three heroes struggle over whether or not, how, and when to put Dru down. I'd like the boys to stop Buffy a few times and to struggle with that, too. Angel would feel all responsible (since he sired her and made her crazy). Spike would feel responsible, too (since he enabled her for a century). And he loved her. They'd both be reluctant to put Dru down or to stand by and let Buffy do it. Ultimately, I'd like Spike to be the one to dust her. That feels right. More respectful. He'd try not to hurt her, at least, and not treat her like just some fledgling. Or maybe I want her to win him back. *evil grin*

Hmmm...Well if you can't tell by my name I do love Drusilla. She was the best villian. I wish there would have been an entire show about Angel Darla Drusilla and Spike. I LOVE all of the flashback scenes and I always liked the history of the vampires more than the history of the past slayers. It could have been a great show. But yeah I really think that Spike and Dru and later Angel were the best villians in Buffy history. I love Season 2. (and a great addition is that Spike and Angel are so young and Gorgeous in that season)

I totally agree, adoptive sis! A show about the fanged four - with Dru featured prominently, of course - would be tons of fun!
Drusilla is amazing. Seductive and smart yet batty. Love it! She was pretty in an odd sort of way... i mean...big eyes, pale face, like that old fashioned sort of definition of beauty. I was mesmerized by her when i started watching the show (at only 11 years old). She is a fascinating character.

My Dru fascination comes in fits and starts. I've been heavy on the Dru videos the past few days. Gosh, I really want her to come back in the comics -- but only if Joss promises not to dust her!

Dru's my perfect wicked lady. Love her dress code, her cute insanity, miss Edith, her 'Cockney' accent. She's so cool. Yup, I am obsessed with her. Dru forever!

Juliet Landau was perfect choice for this role.

Heh, I have a friend who absolutely can't stand Dru, frightens her too much.

I always loved Dru, even when no one else seemed to like the character she fascinated me, you just have to smile when shes on screen, the cutest lunatic alive.
