God I hope he's dead. I mean it killed me when he died, it was painful to have to read about the fight and all after.. that happened. But I loved that it did. It's kind of perfect. And Harry has to fight on his own now... Not in order to help Dumbledore, or 'cause Dumbledore hints about what's right etc. Harry has to make his own decisions, and he already really started doing that in the end of book 6 so, I really hope Dumbledore is very very dead.

What ~*Drama Queen*~ (and others here) said though "“ about how the Avada Kedavra curse worked differently etc. "“ makes sense as a reason why he might not be that dead. I find it hard to believe JK Rowling would just do that not on purpose. Hm.

I think there may be more up with Snapes than meets the eye
I'm counting on it. Like I "“ and others "“ always say... It's boring if Snape's 100% evil and it's boring if he's 100% good. I hope he killed Dumbledore because he really had to and there was no option. But I also hope he isn't entirely on Dumbledore's side, I want him to have some own plan, that there is something really cool with Snape's character that we just haven't been able to even guess yet. I sort of don't think there is, but god I hope..

I was also devastated when Dumbledore died, but I'm over it now, and I think he should remain dead. It will drive Harry to do what he needs to do, I think. I don't know about Snape, I want him to be in a gray area. It would be interesting if Dumbledore had wanted Snape to kill him for whatever reason.

I *really* need to reread these books.

I need to re-read the books too lol. and i also think whatever Snape did was for good intentions.. like there is more to him than what we know.

Hm yeah that's true, would be cool if it was Dumbledore's idea all along. Then again, that would make Snape not so much in the grey area (probably) but on Dumbledore's side all along..

My brain is going slightly random on me, but the idea there might be more to the Snape/Dumbledore thing than meets the eye makes me wonder about other stuff with mysteries left dangling.

We don't know who took the Horcrux in the cave, but he signed a note R.A.B.

Sirius Black had a brother name Regulus. That's R.B. We just need an A. They introduced Regulus as an idea, but didn't really tell us too much about him.

Sirius gives Harry a mirror. I think it's supposed to communicate with the dead, or something isn't it? I just remember it doesn't work. Why introduce the concept of the magic mirror if it doesn't work?

So what if all these possible buried significance things are in some way connected?

I can't even remember half of that stuff. lol
Yeah people have been mentioning Regulus as a potential R.A.B... I really don't know who else it could be. Would be weird if it wasn't him but. Honestly I'm just gonna wait and see, I never try to solve these things before I actually read it in the book.. Guess I'm boring that way 🙂

I'm the same way, I don't think to hard about this sort of stuff. It's pointless.
I get about 3 out of 10 of them right, then forget the other 7 didn't happen. 🙂

Guys, I think you all should read this:

BREAKING DUMBLEDORE IS NOT DEAD NEWS!

Is Dumbledore dead or not?! In an interview Saturday in the Guardian, Dan Radcliffe said:

'Jo came down to the set at one point and I said, "Oh hello, why are you here today?" And she said, "Oh I just needed a break from the book - Dumbledore's giving me a lot of trouble." And I said, "But isn't he dead?" And she said, "Well, yeah, but it's more complex ..." I was like, [briskly] "OK, I'm not gonna ask anything else!"'

So, it would seem we haven't heard the last of Dumbledore after all, despite JK's public protestations to the contrary!

What do you think? I don't think Dan lied... But maybe she was talking about a flashback or something...?

I'm not going to post any articles or post a long theory as to why I think Dumbledore is not dead. It simply goes like this:

A Wizard of Dumbledore's skill and stature cannot be killed as easily as that by Snape. Enough said!

And until I read the book i'm not going to believe otherwise, same as I still don't truly believe that Sirius is gone. Mostly because of that whole 'black veil' and that I want Harry to have some family. Leave me to my bubble 😛

LOL!!! Let's hope you're right :D.
Don't believe a word of any of them until you read the books, is my advice.

I believe Dumbledore is not dead, I mean if Peter Pettigrew can live on, Dumbledore SURELY can.

BUT, just because Daniel Radcliffe(who plays Harry Potter BUT other than that has no weight in the books process whatsoever - plus JK would make any 'announcements' and be mightily pissed if someone else did) has said something means nothing.
It could be as simple as a Dumbledore painting, or if you read the words he uses, something as simple as Dumbledore has left 'clues' for Harry to decipher.

Do you have a source for that cuz he would say "Oh hello, why are you here today" it just sounds stupid. And I don't think she would let it slip into a general convo like that!

Maybe she was drunk 😛.

It's a really long interview 😛. The Albus part is almost at the ending.

I don't see how that is any sort of revelation anyway. Even if we take that as the literal truth, she does still say Dumbledore is dead. She only suggests he'll be making an appearance in one form, or another.

Did anyone not think that was going to happen?
