First Part

Nilesh asks: What is your reaction that Buffy is going to end?
David_Boreanaz replies: Well, um, everything comes to an end. There is a beginning,a nd an end. I left at a very high point and it had a great run. With that, I'm very proud that it went as long as it did. I'm neither happy nor sad, but I just, I feel full.


Margaret asks: I think you'd make a terrific Superman. Is it true you've been cast?
David_Boreanaz replies: I'll just kill the rumor now, it hasnt' happened. I don't know how that started, it's not true. All these rumors are flying around. I would love to step into that role but my schedule, and where they're shooting schedule is a big conflict of interest. I haven't been cast, but you never know what can happen. I would love to sit down with Brett Ratner and chew his ear about it, but that hasnt' happened. I went in and read for it, but it was shot down because of my schedule with Angel. I can't do bot


Tonoreasa asks: Is there a chance you will be in any future episode of Buffy?
David_Boreanaz replies: I can say yes, I definitely will be making an appearance on the finale. You owe that to the fans, I think it's my responsibility.


Greta asks: Your official verdict: What did it mean that Angel said Buffy's name during (dream) sex with Cordy?
David_Boreanaz replies: I think that we've established that his one true love is Buffy, obviously. So when that occurred, it's a testament to his feelings. It's not the sex that makes him happy, it's the feeling. He can have sex, but he can't be truly happy.


mercedes asks: do you think that ANGEL will have as long a run as BUFFY?
David_Boreanaz replies: I don't know, I don't really focus on how many years the show will go on. I don't pay attention to the ratings. I play a chracter and I focus on that. The other stuff is very stressful, and you need to put that out of your head. IF you start looking into the future, it just becomes false.


Melissa_S. asks: Will there be any re-kindled romance between Angel and Buffy?
David_Boreanaz replies: I honestly don't know. I can't answer that. I think you need to answer that as a fan. It's very much up in the air, because I think some people would want that, and others wouldn't.


jocelyn asks: Is there any charactor from any of the classics that you wanted to do?
David_Boreanaz replies: I would love to do any sort of Harrison Ford roles. I love his style. I'm a really low key actor and I love his whole demeanor. And actually, Yule Brenner, West World, I'd love to do a remake.


the_groosalugg asks: David, I am a big Angel fan. Do you foresee another season? If so, would you want the Buffyverse to mesh with the Angelverse?
David_Boreanaz replies: thank you, number one. I think the verses match together pretty well. I'd love to continue it, so I don't really ahve a say, but you have to remain optomistic. I've had a good time so far. As far as the actors coming over, you'd have to see how they fit into this world. If it makes sense and works for the story, but if it doesn't, you don't go there. Because then it's forced.


Ken_Harvey asks: Angel as a character has been evil and good.What aspect of each do you enjoy playing the most?

David_Boreanaz replies: I get this alot and the personalities that you take on with any a charater. For me, ti's been a mixed bag. I love being Angelus, but I love being ANgel because he's very unpredictable. And he's grown over the years. I've enjoyed seeing Angel grow. Whereas Angelus has stayed the same, Angel surprises me a lot.

alex asks: Where do you think the storyline between Angel and Connor is going?

David_Boreanaz replies: I see the relationship at a standstill. Our two characters have been very difficult to understand each other. I konw that where Connor is at has really laid the groundwork for some intereesting things that are going to happen in the next five episodes. There's going to be a change, a big change, and it's going to chnage the dynamic between the characters. Something is brewing heavily.


RachelG-S asks: You have such great chemistry on screen with Charisma Carpenter and Sarah Michelle Gellar; what do you attribute most to your success playing opposite to such strong female roles?

David_Boreanaz replies: I guess that the responsibility lies inside yourself and finding where the female character is coming from. The leading man needs to take care of his leading lady. It's the gentleman's approach. You try to understsand the psyche of a woman, which can be unpredictable. YOu avhe to be sensitive to the needs of the woman.

groosalugg asks: Are there any characters that you personally would like to see return to Angel?
David_Boreanaz replies: They all have been killed, unfortunately. I liked Stephanie, who played Lilah. We miss her. That was a big surprise, and it's something you know, you're never safe in Joss Whedon's world.


louie asks: Do you still watch buffy?
David_Boreanaz replies: No, I don't. I don't really watch my show either.




drew asks: How do you feel about the Angel and Cordy?

David_Boreanaz replies: It's been really weird, because she's carrying my son's baby. So, we're just letting that unfold. We're just going to see where that's heading. It's not good right now. But in the past, she's been very comforting for Angel. But we'll see.


elisaveta asks: What's the what with Evil Cordy?!? Is it fun playing off of her?
David_Boreanaz replies: Yeah, I had a good Time. You know the personality and the character, so it changes your performance. It's a really nice thing to have.


poupa asks: will the whole fang gang appear in BTVS finale? is there any chance for B/A reunion?
David_Boreanaz replies: I don't know. I honestly don't know. I'm just as clueless as you guys are. I just know that it's going to be big.


lunasea asks: If Angel was made human this season, would you want to play a human Angel trying to find his way in the world next season?
David_Boreanaz replies: Yeah, I think that would be cool. Let's get that out there.


Jade asks: If you could end Angel in one way how would it be?
David_Boreanaz replies: If the show were ending, I'd have him join the circus. Why not?


lissazara asks: What do you like most about meeting your fans, espcially the transatlantic ones?!
David_Boreanaz replies: You get a chance to give back to the fans what they give to you. They get a chance to see you, and we get to show you that we're just like anyone else. It is what it is. It's nice having to hear what they have to say.


Leo asks: How do you think Angel will react to Spike and Buffy's relationship?
David_Boreanaz replies: I think he'll just laugh. Honestly, I think it's going to be laugther. Laugh maybe out of fear, anger.


athena asks: David I would like to know will you be doing anymore feature films soon?
David_Boreanaz replies: It's up in the air. There's a lot of talk, and a lot of things out there. I know I'll be filling the hiatus with a project. If it fits, well, great. But I try not to worry about such things.


Lezah asks: Congrats on being a new mom! How will the show handle your maternity leave?

Charisma_Carpent replies: I'm not taking one.

mini_marie asks: Have you enjoyed playing evil this year, or do you miss playing Cordy Classic?

Charisma_Carpent replies: I really miss Cordy Classic, but I really love being evil. I was frustrated with playing evil in secret. I really wanted to be evil and be a total contender but that's just the way it worked out.

Caroline asks: Hey Charisma! It seems like Angel/Cordy are gaining fans by the minute, how do you feel about that relationship?

Charisma_Carpent replies: Well, I love it. But considering what just happened, story-line wise, I don't really see any fruits of that labor happening any time soon. Sleeping with Connor was a bit of a deterrent!

AngelVamp asks: Are you planning to be in any movies? That would be cool.
Charisma_Carpent replies: Wouldn't it?


Ophelia asks: How would the two of you feel about cast members from "Buffy" possibly moving to "Angel" after "Buffy" ends this season? Anybody you'd particularly like to get?

Charisma_Carpent replies: It would be fun to work with my old castmates again. I don't know how much work we'd get done if Alyson came over with Alexis being on the show! (chuckles) They're really in love. I've always loved working with Nicholas Brendon, and Tony Head is welcome any day.

HiddenSky asks: With Buffy nearing its end, are you surprised at how far Cordelia has come during her time on Buffy and Angel?

Charisma_Carpent replies: Yeah, I've been really thankful more than surprised. It's been a joy to play! Now if we could just give her one more twist...

Jason_Bower asks: Rumor has it that Angel might not return. Say it isn't so.This season rocks!

Charisma_Carpent replies: Thank you. Those decisions, unfortunately, are not my in hands. I've heard those rumors as well and I hope they're not true.

Jade asks: Who do you think is the perfect match for your character?

Charisma_Carpent replies: Lorne. Ha ha. We're just so compatible! or Fred. ha ha.

Sarah asks: Did you object at all to the Cordy/Connor relationship? It really, really creeps me out.

Charisma_Carpent replies: You're not alone, sister!

wildwing112 asks: Can you elaborate on your answer about Connor?

Charisma_Carpent replies: We just have to trust the writers know story-wise what they're doing and just be patient. The idea is to put as many obstacles in front of Cordy and Angel as possible. Otherwise, if Angel and Cordy were to get together, it would be one big snorefest!

davidh1960 asks: Charisma, if Joss did a buffy movie, do you think any angel cast would be in it?

Charisma_Carpent replies: We've been asked before to be in a movie and be in an animated series. It just hasn't happened yet. And if it doesn't happen soon, we'll all be old people in diapers!


nick asks: Some dish for you... Eliza turned down the spinoff because she has a new show on fox called Heroine.

Kristin replies: Errrr, thanks! Hadn't heard. Also hadn't hear what it's about : It's about a woman who works in a morgue and gets messages from the dead. They give her info about crimes that have happened in which they dies and she wakes up every morning and relives the day (a la Groundhog Day) trying to set things right. It appears her mother died when she was little (ah, the old dead mother plot twist) and she's carrying around a lot of guilt because she couldn't prevent her mother's death.

Kristin: And supposedly they've scrapped the name Heroine. It'll now be called Crack Pipe. .... Kidding! (but they really did scrap the name and are looking for a new one)




scoobygrrl asks: Congrats on the baby! Please tell me that this doesn't mean you're going to be on "Angel" less now that you're going to be a mom!! We all understand family is the most important thing, but we love you as Cordelia!!!

Charisma_Carpent replies: Thanks for the well-wishing. Due to being so very pregnant, my hours have been modified, but as I said, I'm not taking any maternity leave.




aidenn asks: I wonder if Charisma likes work with Lorne. And I wonder how it was to work with Eliza.
Charisma_Carpent replies: Andy Hallett is amazing -- he's one of my absolute favorite people ever! A huge asset to the show and the human race. And Eliza -- I didn't get to work with her! But I did get to spend one day with all of us on set and that was fun. We've worked together for years off and on, and she's going to be a big fat star! And let's just talk about her eyelashes for a minute -- wench!




cordycutie asks: How did you feel about the WB pulling the ol' switcheroo?

Charisma_Carpent replies: I'm bitter about the change of nights. Let's protest! Let's get up in arms. It's been changed four times in four seasons. Ri-donk-ulous.



buffyfan09 asks: Is this Charisma's last season on Angel?

Charisma_Carpent replies: There are a lot of working moms out there -- don't freak out.


Jason asks: When if ever are Angel and Cordy ever going to hookup, and would you like to see it happen. They been dragging this forever what's up?

Charisma_Carpent replies: I agree they've been dragging it out forever. I don't know if it would be what's best for the show if they did get together. But I agree that there should be some sort of climax to all the buildup. I can't encourage you enough to write to the producers about your wants and needs because it's really influential. The fans make or break characters every day.




raykay asks: Do you know about any Buffy characters coming to Angel after the show ends?

Charisma_Carpent replies: I've heard nothing about who might or might not be coming over. Personally, I feel we're just as a show coming into our own and to do the crossover bit, to what benefit does that give us if we're constantly doing these Buffy crossovers? We need to root ourselves. But again, those decisions aren't mine, they're Joss'.


groosalugg asks: Charisma, what kind of music do you listen to? Just curious.

Charisma_Carpent replies: I loooove classic rock. I can't believe Norah Jones won eight Grammys. (laughs) I like the one song, but eight Grammys? I love the Verve, Lauryn Hill, and I like new age music right now because I'm about to have a baby and it's very Zen. I'm all overthe map! Madonna... I'm a girl.


groosalugg asks: Charisma, what ever happened to the Queen Bitch I grew up watching on Buffy and Angel? She has completely changed but I don't remember a major turning point.

Charisma_Carpent replies: It was really fun this past season to revert to Cordy's classic ways. I heard that there will be MAJOR changes next season (if there is a next season) and I'm wondering if it's along those lines.



slayerfan23 asks: Um have you heard Willow may get a spinoff?

Kristin replies: I have heard that producers are very interested in doing one, but that Alyson is ready to move on. Tragic, no?
