E3 2009

Yeah its junk. I'm a big gamer, and I played my xbox 360, ps3, psp, and DS all the time, and I went months without touching the Wii. Theres like maybe 3 or 4 decent games.

yeah the only game i kind of enjoyed on the wii was the house of dead games.

the only thing we play on wii is the game you get with it, tennis and golf etc. i got it as a birthday present but yeah, it gets old really fast.

MozYa agrees: Dragon Age looks amazing. PC only?

It's PC and Xbox. It was supposed to be PC only but EA taking over Bioware probably changed the plans. 😛

Oh and I missed The Old Republic stuff! Sweet would have liked that too!

So the Ubisoft keynote was a little boring, not much demoing of anything just lots of talking but I can cope with that, Avatar might be amazing when they release it. Anyway, Assassin's Creed II info and trailer here and here

Also, I don't think it's family orientated enough on the 360 and PS3, I can't even get my family to pick up a 360 controller but when my brother had a Wii all the wanted to do. I just see it as a way to finally get my family to understand how fun gaming can be, and then I'll only have to get them addicted to Buffy 😛

I'd prefer they keep the non-gamer gaming to the Wii. Family oriented games already ruined that system, they can have it. I dont want it to ruin any more haha

All this family oriented gaming talk just reminds me that my xbox is sitting in my parent's living room, probably gathering dust, and just begging for me to come home so I can play...I did mention that you guys won't be seeing much of me when I get home for a little while, right? 😛

I think your parents will not allow you to play it because they are now addicted to it :P
GAH

Steve Wiebe just failed his world record attempt just over 100,000 points away from the record 🙁

2 hours and 40 minutes worth of Donkey Kong.

Zelda and Mario announced 😀 at Nintendo keynote. Sony will have to pull something big to match MS and Nintendo now.

New Zelda? NEW ZELDA!!!
New Halo and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 look awesome.
Steve Wiebe is trying for the record again 🙂
Stupid new psp. I hate having to buy new systems, but I hate not having them too :/

Oh my god Steve Wiebe's arcade machine lost power while he was going for the record. He must be so mad. You'd think they'd make sure that didn't happen.

A NEW LoZ? Or more info on Spirit Tracks?

Final Fantasy XIV? Well, I'm gonna have to buy that just cause the name looks so pretty. And a new Team Ico game! I am very happy right now. 😀

Well, it's an MMORPG. They've probably been working on it simultaneously with XIII.

Square really must be huuuuge...

Im still unsure on how they figure a 2010 release
@Moz: I haven't heard anything about a new Zelda, so it's probably Spirit Track info

@Linds: PLEEEEEEASE let it be SotC2!

Sony was the only full presentation that I saw, but Project Natal looks like it will be very impressive if Sony can utilize the technology to its full potential. By the way, I'm not much of a gamer anymore, but I still like reading and watching the latest video game news. So, I liked seeing all of the trailers (especially Modern Warfare 2), but I probably won't play any of the games (maybe one day). Still, an excellent presentation.
