What is the earliest memory you can recall?

For me it was when my brother was born, I was two and my dad and I were going to visit my mum in hospital. My mum loves pigs, and we had a pot one in the garden, so I decided to bring it.

I remember being at the hospital entrance on my dad's shoulders, and dropping this pot pig on the floor and it shattered everywhere.

I was gutted because I can remember thinking that my mum would love to see the old pot pig from the garden, haha. I think she was probably glad that I dropped it!

I don't have one specific one, but random flashes. I remember playing in our first house/apartment. We moved out of there when I was almost three.

I have a lot of memories at our cabin from when I was REALLY young, too, like when they built the sauna. I "helped" move rocks.

I can remember laying on my back on a blanket, staring up through the trees at a family camping trip. From what my mom says, I was probably about 8 or 9 months old when we went on my first camping trip, and this would have been the only one where I wasn't able to walk, so she had laid me in a playpen to play. I'm amazed that I can remember this, but the memory is so vivid I can even remember the breeze on my skin.

That's awesome!
My earliest memory is from when I was two-years-old, and I had gone on a walk with my cousins, aunt and uncle. I vividly remember seeing a dead hedgehog in a waterfall. Perhaps it stuck with me because it was traumatic? 🙁

That would be traumatic for me, as well. :(
I'm pretty sure my earliest memory was when my family moved to Spain, we moved before I was 1 but moved back to the UK when I was about 5, so some time between then! lol Think my folks said I was about 2 or 3. I was having a birthday party on our roof, (the tops of some houses in Spain are flat and you can go up there, just incase you didn't know lol) I remember a really long table and lots of kids, I remember sitting at the table and everyone having a party hat but all the hats were different and an older boy had this black glittery top hat and I wanted it sooooo bad!! I have no idea why, I'm sure my hat was fine but I think it was probably because that was the only one, so it was unique and special, I don't remember asking for it or anything, just sitting there for a moment 'wanting' it lol Very odd lol 😀

Black glitter hat = awesome!
I'm not sure which one came first, but my two earliest memories are visiting my dad sometime after my parents separated, and what I was doing when my baby brother Cameron (now brother number 3 of 5) was being born. My memory of seeing my dad is a bit fuzzy, and mainly just consists of my parents arguing about when to bring me and my brother(s) back home.

But my memory of what happened when Cam was born is really vivid. I was three, and Teo (brother number 2) was fifteen months, and I was showing him how to build stacks of alphabet blocks at my grandparent's house while my grandpa watched(we lived with my grandma and grandpa about half the time after my dad left until I was ten). And the telephone rang, and my grandpa went into the kitchen to answer it. And when he came back, he said, "Tabitha, Teo, that was your grandma. Your baby brother was just born." And Teo and I jumped on him and I tried to get him to take us to the hospital to see him. I don't remember if it worked or not. 🙂

Awww, happy baby brother story!
I have a lot of memories from when I was younger, though I am very confused about the time line. It is just a wibbley wobbley line of timey wimey stuff.
I remember sitting in a high chair (for fun) with my best friend at the time and playing Pokemon Yellow version on her yellow GameBoy Colour.
I also remember sneaking down to the kitchen with the same friend during a sleepover to get food. I had my first sleep over at the age of 2, so I don't know how old I was during this one.)
I also remember playing with my little sister a lot. And teaching her the ways of Disney movies and musicals. I think I like these memories the best.

I can recall my earliest childhood memory crystal clear: breasts, breasts, and more breasts. If I wasn't on one set, I was on the other. And my family backed it up as well. Once I got comfortable, I wouldn't get off. My female family members had to sit there and take it. Poor them. 🙂

I have noticed this with both my boys. Boobie obsession starts early.

hahaha! Oh god.
I can remember some things from a long time ago. I can remember playing with my friends at my preschool during the winter, when they had set up all sorts of winter-themed playsets for us. We were pretending to be a family that lived on a frozen lake. My friends were pretending to be the wife, daugter, and pet cat. They made me be the dad and sit in a corner and 'ice fish' the whole time. I was sort of put out. 😀

But ice fishing is so fun!
I remember my mom cooking in a dimly lit kitchen, with glass pots and pans. And I looked at our dog and I was the same height as his back. 🙂

Aw, that's so cute. I'll always remember when my cousin accidentally flooded the bathroom and my uncle closed the door so he could mop it up. I was lying on my stomach right in front of it and I watched the water flow from under the door, onto the carpet. Such a weird memory. I also remember feeding my cousin's rabbit a chip and then a few hours later it died. I was convinced that I'd killed it for years...haha.

Another one that I will never, ever forget, was when my mom left my Baskin Robbins (ice cream...strawberry with gummy bears on top, to be exact) on top of the car. It flew off the roof and some guy on the freeway yelled out of his window...well I don't remember what he said, but I'm assuming he told us that my ice cream was now flying down the highway. My parents had to take me back to get more. Good times.

My earliest coherent memory was going to the hospital at age 18 months with a strangulated hernia. My dad was a truck driver back then, and he was away on a trip, so my grandfather had to take us. It's one of the few actual memories that I have of him, because he died not long after that.
