Usually, a lot of people try to eat "politely" when around others, especially those they do not know. For example, in restaurants; we dress nice, indulge in conversation, use our knife and fork, put our napkin on our lap, etc. You know what I mean. Some of you even eat fried chicken with a knife and

Now, this thread is about how you eat when there's no one else around. I want you to share your own "food truths." Because I KNOW most of you eat like little piglets when there's no one watching you.

For example, when I'm all alone and hungry, I totally enjoy ripping apart a Costco chicken with my hands, stuffing my mouth with the warm, roasted meat. Who needs a knife and fork? Or a plate for that matter? I get home, cradling my beautiful bird. The goal is to get that chicken container open as soon as possible. Then, turn into a cavewoman. Mmmm. Meat good. Parker bad. 😛

Costco chicken rules.

Share your piglet moments. Foooood.

I eat like a pig in public. Less noisily though.

Tonight was fish and chips with fingers. I eat much slower when I know a man is not going to steal my chips. And I have the luxury of running water, so clean up is a breeze.

Yeah, I gotta go with Hoppy here, I eat the same way regardless of where I am. WTF do I care what anyone thinks? 😀

Only 13 possibilities, you need to cook more!

I tend not to order soup when out, I don't like people watching me eat soup.

Same here. Also there's the pressure to not eat soup too slowly despite it being boiling hot.

Basic rule for eating out is don't order anything that can get messy.

I don't give a .... I'll order blue mussels and eat them like a maniac. I get psychotic when I use one shell to rip the inside out of his brother. You can see the gleam in my eyes and you know we are way past table manners.

Check there's no chicky babe with a fancy cross bow anywhere near, else the hunger games you envisage before eating the pig may revert to you having problems eating the apple.

I'm not really a sloppy eater but I can be a messy cook if there's no-one around to make me try and act like a TV chef. 'these are all my bowls of ingredients laid out ahead of time!' If there's no-one there I'm way more disorganized.
