Edit button missing

Time was that there was an edit button, what had happened?

You can only actually edit your posts for up to 5 minutes after you post the message... 🙂

But if you wish for something to be edited for a reason you feel is just, you can contact an admin/that board's mod and they can edit it.

Its to prevent people from editing old posts in case of arguments and such.

Actually it to keep threads making sense, not because of arguments.

I misspelled a word on a post and I wanted to change it, contact info for a mod is on his or her profile, right?

Yeah you can find their email address or whatever, but easiest is just to click their name on the post and a drop down menu should come down and you can send them a private message. Far easier.

Ah okay, must just be other forums I go where arguing happens a fair bit, where the removal of the edit button may help.
