I figured we should have one general thread dedicated to this line instead of a bunch of separate ones.

I received Glory on Friday and I can't tell you how amazing she is. What a maquette! She's a must have. Her paint application is perfect. They used a great texture. Her face sculpt is a ten and her pose nothing less. Some people have issues with her large brows but mine looks fantastic. I don't think she was over done at all!! If you haven't picked her up, and are debating, trust me, she's worth it.

I will post photos tomorrow.
 
They don't have the Glory one, in at my nearest FB, they usually have the Buffy and dark willow one.

I would buy one, although i have no where to display it properly. ;(
 
Okay i take it back, the Glory one is the best out them all. It's so pretty! 😛
 
I'm anxious for Faith. Mainly because I'm not sure I'll have the money ready when they release them, which means I could miss out on the exclusive. I doubt they will sell for cheap on ebay anytime soon like the rest of the tikis do, so it's feels like now or never.

Oh actions figures. I would love to have them all. I do have my Angel/Buffy prom dolls still in the box hanging on my wall. I am completely ridiculous....
 
I have like over 18 Buffy figures :| i use to collect them when i was younger, a lot of them i opened, yeah what a stupid bitca ;D

i have like 6 in their boxes on my wall, then my book of vengeance (Anya figures too).Oh and two 12" figures, willow and spike.

I think i may have a pic on my comp somewhere, but why would that be interesting? ha.


The maquettes are very pricey 😛

They did make a more limited quantity of Faith. I would only worry about her exclusive. If you are not too interested in that, then you're set. There will be places all over the internet that will have her.

I pre-ordered both the reg and exclusive because I want the regular, as I like it better. I think it's more 'Faith' then the exclusive. But with the exclusive piece being so rare, there's no way I want to let it go.

Also, they may very well push these back a bit. I have a feeling they will come out in January, buttttt we could get lucky and not see them till around March. I shall pray.
 
This line is sadly coming to an end. The license for it is about up. I will be sad to see no more additions.
 
Really wanted the Vengeance willow (not dark willow, dunno, don't like it as much) but it's hard to find, and sells for a lot on ebay.

I bit the bullet and pre-ordered Faith on TFAW. I figure, she doesnt come out til february and they don't charge me until it ships, i should have the money by then. It'd be my first one!
 
There are a few charity auctions up right now,(ending in three days) and the designer of the tikis have given three statues plus sketches to it (the Faith one is a prototype, 2 out of 3).

Very excited I just won a buffy maquette off ebay (the End of Days one) for a total of $49 (with shipping!). The reason was it has a little bit of damage, but nothing that can be seen when it's put together. I'm not looking to resell anyway, so this is just fine. I'm so excited it shipped today and should be here in a few days!

Edit: randomly noticed my post count is my birthday. 1,119 (11/19) haha. Im weird.

I got her I got her! Shes AWESOME. I have a couple of pictures, she's sitting with my demon busts and my signed spike bust. Looks like she's gonna kick some ass.

I can't believe i got such a great deal. The damage was that the seller said in removing buffy from the base, the metal piece on the front foot remained lodged in the base. but it put together just fine, and you can't even tell.

Not sure why... but I got me one of these.
It looks pretty good and my Buffy Cube Figure isn't lonely anymore. 🙂

Yeah, the Buffy Cube is a do-it-yourself paper thingy. There is an old thread with links around somewhere.

It stands on a Lord of the Rings - Collector's DVD Gift Set box.
Which includes the Special Edition of LotR and a sideshow maquette made by Weta.

Did the Faith Maquette get pushed back universally? i pre-ordered it from TFAW, it was supposed to be released wednesday. Now it says March 31st. Seems other sites still have it just up for pre-order too, one site even said it isnt expected to ship til april. that kind of sucks, i thought i'd be getting her soon 🙁

I heard someone say they would get their on the 5th, but I think that person ordered directly from sideshow. I heard thaw is always slow.
