So, in two days Buffy will have been on TV for 11 years. It's amazing that our show has continued for that long...it may not have always been on TV, but we've always had something. Angel, the books, the comics, and now season 8 and ATF.

I'm really excited. I know Year 11 isn't the most important, but I feel like it should be. We should make a big damn deal about it, and go and be the best Buffy fans ever that day, Monday. Our day.

The lame corny speech thing is over. Hehe.
 
No you're right it should be a big deal...Keep the verse alive and get your ASS over to Mzp and support my damn show...Lol...(Just kidding, you dont have to)

actually if you remember right we made a huge deal out of year 10 it was a huge celebration which included our Fabulous Skins from season 1 to 7 as well as many other exciting things

But totally agree, big deal needed...wow 11 years, i think i was that old when i started watching the show,
 
Whoa, eleven years...I wish I'd been watching Buffy since the beggining...but, I'm a little young :lmao: The last two years of my life...actually, they've sucked, but, aside from my wonderful friends, Buffy's the thing that's helped me through. Yay 😀 😛 Anywho, I can't believe it's been on for ELEVEN years! I remember sitting with my brother one Tuesday night to a new episode of...season three, I think, and crying my eyes out everytime a vampire was on screen :lmao: And look at me now 😛 Anyway, eleven years...wow...That's all I can say 😀
 
It is a big day!!! I can't wait! We have to do all we can to keep Buffy alive!!!!!!😀😀 Even though I just started watching Buffy almost exactly a year ago now- I've been sucked into the world faster than you can say Bunnies!😀😛

Whoa, eleven years. That is a big deal. I mean it's been off the air for what? Four years is it? And it's still going strong- definitely the sign of a great show. Personally I can't wait for the day we all go 'wow, twenty years....', haha.

I seriously cannot believe it was eleven years ago when I saw that 'Previous Slayers' promo they aired and I went 'hmm...looks interesting' and me (16 at the time...) and Mother settled down to watch it. They made it look so much cooler than the movie was so I gave it a shot. And by the time Darla had bit the boy in the school in the teaser; I was already hooked. I think I instantly fell in love with everyone of the characters. Few shows do that for me, but well, watching Welcome to the Hellmouth for the very first time was the start of a beautiful friendship. 😀 haha.
 
Gosh 11 years. Where would we be without Buffy? Probably where we are now but much sadder. Even if that's not a word.

I am going to go everywhere I can and spread the word on it's 11th birthday!
 
I just came out of the 'how did you find Buffy' thread feeling old and now I feel even older...11 years! That means Buffy has actually been part of my life for half of my existence...:wow:

wow, over half my life with the slayer. Good times. Does anyone else feel like they're old friends now? I dunno, it might be kinda lame but there's always that warm spot in your heart when you settle on the couch or whatever and pop in your fave eps.

Thanks for 11 great years guys!!! Hopefully here's to 11 more!!
 
About half my life too at this point, been watching this show since I was an annoying brat at high school and hadn't even been on the internet yet.
 
i got my buffy geek on and celebrated with s1 and a pineapple pizza
it was great!
i can't believe that - like Allycat - next year i'll have been watching Buffy for half my life (what an amazing thing to be able to say)
BtVS was the reason I discovered the wonderful world of the internet, because i just HAD to talk about the show with other people!
 
^Same as me, I'm around 23 and been watching it for the 11 years now. 🙂

Well we didn't have a computer for over a year later you see and I wasn't allowed to really use it much.
 
i was lucky we had computers at my high school and the net was so new they didn't know about blocking things like forums etc like they do now, so i spent many hours wasting my learning time online 😀 looking at Buffy stuff and i can remember thinking, oh my god, a forum has 100 members - it must be huge!
