Funny you should say that...when the first pics from "Salvage" came out, I thought Faith looked more like Eliza than ever. It's amazing what a little makeup does. 🙂 Ok, a lot, but still....
 
well what can you say about faith!? shes kind of the opposite of buffy! in everyway. Shes more of the darkside even when she pops out a hilarious line you can still see the darkness and the pain. and i don't care what anyone says everyone is intrigued and drawn to the dark. Because its sexy and forbidden and thats just what faith is. You can't tame her, and quite frankly i don't think anyone would! she is who she is and she won't deny it!! and i think that people are drawn into her pain, the fact that no one truly understands her. never being able to fully let down the walls thats shes built up throughout the years. and then having them being torn down in angel. fully realising what she has done and what she has been through.

Eliza Duskhu fully pulls off this character you can feel her pain and torment and not just in the words but in her face and her eyes. and she pulls off the mystery of faith. i don't think that any other young female actress could have pulled it off quite as well as she has!!

But thats why i say a Faith spinoff would take out the mystery of her character.. Ayee.. well Dushy was indeed the best choice for that character 😀

BECAUUSSSEEE.... faith is supposed to return to angel and then something happen and she has to change her image(ie played by a new person) to hide from the cops!! or something like that but another person will be playing faith!! NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think its just a rumor, because Joss has stated in several interviews that he wouldnt ever have another Actor/Actress play one of his characters. Plus no one could play Faith like Eliza she took the role and made it her own.
 
true!! plus i think that joss is into the idea of a faith spin off and even though shes busy with tru calling i think hes keeping his options open JUST INCASE!!
 
Defiently agreeable. No other person could shape the role of "Faith" as Eliza had. It just wouldn't be "intresting". We've adapted to Eliza playing that part and once people adapt to that person portraying a character, its hard to think of other peopling playing that character.

I've read many interviews with Joss about a Faith spin off. Seems he thought about it more then once. Possibility.
 
AND Anthony Stewart Head has spoken about his interest in the faith spin off he'd like it to go ahead too, and the way he was saying joss is more than interested in it and who can blame him Faith is a great character and is portrayed very well!!
 
Yes, I believe we all wouldn't mind seeing a Faith spin off. I know I wouldn't, but we don't want to over work Eliza now do we. She seems to flooded with work at the moment? Maybe in time it will happen.
 
Who knows, I would love to see her do well in whatever she chooses. I think that maybe in six months time she can make a choice. I know over there in the states that the network can drop programmes if the ratings are not great even if the programme is. so I think a lot depends on How well things go with this show. As much as I would love to see a Faith spin off you have to respect the fact that it would have been a hard act to follow straight after Buffy and that some people would have just loved the chance to slag her off if it failed. Your journalists are as bad as ours they build people up and when they are at the top they start to knock them back down.
 
i hope it does do well though cause theres more chance of it being brought over to the UK!!

and i really wanna watch it, i wanna watch anything with Eliza in!!

and i have to wait till november to watch wrong turn and i don't know whether they're gonna release The Kiss over here!!

Mmmm..... well i have no idea.... i like Eliza as Faith very much... don't know if anybody could taken over that....maybe...

Yea me too.. just for the fact she is great to watch, and usually rules the screen no matter how bad the show.. see Soul Survivors.

But lets hope we see more of 'Faith' in the Buffyverse, whatever spin-off comes about. 🙂
 
Still not wanting to see Faith return. But then, I'm still waiting for them to reveal that it was a Faithbot in Sunnyhell, 'cause what they did to my girl under the guise of 'it's Buffy's show' was just sad. It's always been Buffy's show, that hasn't stopped other characters from getting decent development before. I'm convinced it was Joss on a diva trip once he found out Eliza went with Tru instead of Faith. What kills me is that Eliza comes off as having enjoyed it in the most recent interviews.

Eliza was and still is amzing.
she act Faith really awesome and i love her act and character
it's pretty shame that Eliza don't want a show for her self as Faith. but i'm glad that she's have now the show 'Tru Calling'

I totally agree. A part of me hope that Tru Calling fails miserably fo Eliza can go and do a Faith spin-off. I mean if The Vampire Slayer was to continue on I could only see it working with Faith there.
 
Tell you what I think
Faith spinoff will be the best show ever (maybe with Robin, or maybe not), but they should wait with doing this....
It's good that Eliza has "Tru", cause it will give everybody a little time.
Cause I think that if it goes now, there would be many sentence like: "Faith is cool, but Buffy........"
Now what I mean??
 
I think the spin-off can be a Faith+Spike fight evil together. And Willow can be like a watcher in training.
But I hate that they ended Buffy but re-writing the entire SLAYER mythology. It sucks how they ruined that aspect of the show by allowing every potential to be a slayer. I hated that. So they will have to find some way to work around that...
And Willow can just do a spell and give Xander his eye back. She could bring Buffy back, remove and bullet from her chest, so i think she can get Xander an eye!
