Eliza as 'Faith'

I like your idea Tuesday...... Faith and Spike fight together... cool..... but Spike is in Angel now, remembver?
 
This is how i became an Eliza fan. Faith. I love her bad girl appearance. Everything Buffy wouldnt do, Faith DID. Which, made me drawn to her. Plus, her kicking ass in those leather pants...AND the dancing *starts to drool*

Anyways, I loved her in Angel this past season and in Buffy. Altho, i REALLY hated her and Wood. Barf bag please.

Plus, another reason i loved Faith was...THE SUBTEXT 🙂

I love Eliza, and I loved her more when she was Faith, the bad girl image totally fit her, and she was really good at it. She is a great actress, and deffonitly atracks your attention, what isnt to love?
 
If they do a Faith series, i wouldn't want Spike in it. There's no reason he'd be hanging around Faith. The whole Ghost Spike in the Faith spinoff Minear came up with was silly, IMO. In ATS, they did have to do some work to setup why Cordelia would be hanging around Angel, but the idea of Cordy as a struggling actress made sense. Why would Spike be hanging out with Faith? They'd have to do a lot of explaining on that one, especially with what's happening on Angel this season.

My wish list for the Faith series would be Faith getting her own posse like Angel has, and not castoffs from Buffy. But I'd love for a Faith & Wes spinoff. That would be so incredible.
 
I agree with Faithy on that one. A Faith and Spike spinoff would make no sense. Lot's of explaning would have to take place, possibly confusion. Now, I'd like a Faith Spin off, just a focased spinoff on Faith and Spike wouldn't fit in right. But Faith and Spike pairing.......I wouldn't freak out.

As for Eliza's portrayle of Faith, I think I've stated before that If anyone else tried to take on Faith's part, I couldn't watch it. I'm so used of Eliza getting the emotions down pat in the role I wouldn't be interested in seeing anyone else play her. Now I'd watch them because of curiosity but I'd probably stray away from it fast. Eliza is just memorizing that way.
 
I agree with TaintedFaith. Eliza does the 'bad girl' character really well. She portrays Faith's character with enough mix of the tough girl and the girl who is really scared and all alone.
 
Faith

I think Faith is an awesome character...she's unique and she is not like the others (Buffy and the potentials). I was inspired by Faith to become different from what people see me as. I think Faith is cool...!!
 
People, let's not try to copy other shows, namely Buffy: Vampire Slayer. And Eliza's new show had better kick major ass, because judging from the looks of it, it's going to be a hell of a series.😀
 
well I wished that I had checked out this thread before the Introduction one my ramblings on would of fit a lil better over here.
Faiths character had no boundries,she coulnd of took a series in so many directions.Buffy would of been history,like most of the prissy stereotyple girls that had the blond hair lil' two story home an lucked into half a charmed high school click.
Faith punched, kicked,@ hustled her way thru from the start.She walked the stright an narrow and crawled out of a dark hole she fell into an for a while manged to live on both side. I don't know if her chracter was mysterious or just a product of a deeply layered charcter.
One direction I would find interesting is of all the new slayers how many probly have issues simlar to Faiths I think the odds are good amount There not like screening process for mass produced slayers an lack of one on one watcher attention.
so if you have rouge slayers running amuck who the person you hire to reel them in the baddest of the bad she been there no teen bopper w/ a new power trip can touch the wild one I meanFace it Buffster ran around for years claimin undisputed chosen one but Faith was a slayer start to finish an she never kicked the bucket ,once.
That would be something not to easy to compare w/ B's era an legeacy.The crossover potential w/ Angel from time to time could just be off the chain.Im not into the whole Spike & Faith soulmate thing but you know if slayers are going buck nuts Spike goin pop up.Just cause Buffy woulnd be so proud of her lap dog.Im diggin this whole story angle,be nice if I coulnd come up to something this interesting of my own that wouldnt get dragged into court and sued so bad my grandkids woulnd have bad credit.
 
I am a total Faith fan! You know fake wrestling federations where you can role play and stuff like that? Well, I always use some character of Eliza's. I love Faith's attitude in Buffy and how she doesn't put up with garbage. She is awesome! I hope Tru calling does great! I'll be watching over and over and over again!

I think she portray Faith really good!!
and that no one would do it better!! She brings exactly what the charater needs, she gives it just the right "aaah" : grinyes if you know what i mean?
it seems like she's really brought aot to faith... i will sertanly give her a big "Clap, Clap" for it (ps;that's what i give people whan i think they've REALLY deserved it... or i just feel like saying that, and she really did deseve that🙂

(Im sorry my spelling is so bad!!)
