Eliza as Voice of Catwoman

Cool, I like it! She has a very distinct voice and she does a good job here I think. Great attitude and all 🙂
 
Will check it out later, sounds good to me!😀 As long as we don't get another Cat Woman film anytime soon I will be happy😉

Undecided if that is a plus or minus. My mouth dropped until I realized you were not talking about the movie.
 
I never imagined her voice fitting so well in something like this. She sounds great!
 
While Adrienne Barbeau and Michelle Pfeiffer will always be my definitive Catwomen, I don't think I'd mind Eliza as the latest live action Selina Kyle.

She'd make a great Catwoman. Anne Hathaway was adequate, but she didn't ooze raw sex appeal like Adrienne, Michelle, Eliza, or any of the other previous Catwomans did. I see Anne as more of "girl next door" type like Sarah Michelle Gellar.
 
I think Hathaway did a great job actually. It may have been a different take on the character but to me that is a good thing she deserves her place on that list😛

Meh, she was decent but I can think of several other actresses who'd have done a better job with it.
 
I disagree, I mean I think she steals many of the scenes from the other cast, she is sexy, but also delivers some great one liners with gusto, she plays perfectly into the genre conventions while still playing it straight enough to be taken serious. I don't think she was as good as Phiffier but then that would have been nearly impossible. Don't forget that when Hathaway was announced as the new Catwoman it took many people aback and she really surprised a lot of people.
 
Don't get me wrong, Anne Hathaway is a superb actress with a certain graceful charm that saved the movie from becoming too bleak for its own good.

I think it has more to do with how I envision the Catwoman character: a vixenish 'bad girl' type, something that I don't think Hathaway is exactly.
 
Maybe, its also possible she stood out so much because the movie as didn't work as well as the previous two. The way I see it is characters are there to be reinvented just like Ledger's Joker was a different version to the previous two.

I thought she did a good job. I think the movie just called for a different take on Selina Kyle. She wasn't really suppose to be a villain/bad girl. The Nolan Batman films are supposed to be a more grounded reality. I don't think an overly sexual and villainous Catwoman would have worked.

Now with the new DC movies I'd love to see Eliza play that kind of Catwoman, she'd be awesome!
 
Eh, all's I'm saying is that she isn't the first actress I would ask to play Selina Kyle/Catwoman and her portrayal, while decent, is not how I think Catwoman should be done. But if it worked in the Chris Nolan verse it worked, I can't say anything against it, seeing as how this Catwoman was meant to be more realistic and Anne did just that.

Did you not see the movie? Jus curious. I'm not saying she did an excellent job, she wouldn't be my first pick either. It still could have worked with a more bad ass actress. But she was basically the best part of that movie.
