Apparently she'll be playing the lead on the Fox pilot Nurses.

"Nurses," from 20th TV, is a comedic drama about the lives and loves of a team of nurses. Dushku will play the lead, a young woman just out of nursing school who joins the hospital run by her father. Dushku replaces Katheryn Winnick, who originally was cast in the role; the part was recast after the character was taken in a different, more comedic direction.

Yep I'm thrilled to death that Eliza has gotten a pilot, although I really wish it wasn't a freaking medical show.
 
Why not? Every guy on the planet has probably wanked off to the thought of Eliza in a nurse's outfit (that little stint in Tru Calling was way too short). Well, congratulations, gents! You got your wish! 🙂

Honestly, I'm siked about this thought myself... and I'm a chick. But seriously, as if Eliza having five movies out this year isn't good enough. I just wish it wasn't on FOX, though. That network just screams disaster.
 
another medical related show? Well, more eliza is good, no matter what the plot. I just wish she had taken a Faith spinoff...That would have been awesome.
 
There was a show in the 80s(?) called nurses. i assume this wont be the same. Also, Fox? Dont expect it to be on long then. Other than that, yay 🙂
 
I hope it goes well for her but I'd still much rather see her in "The Adventures of Faith and Spike" mini-series 😉...still, there's always the Season 8 comics to look forward to...🙂

Unless she is in some kind of a porno-movie-type nurse's outfit I don't think this show will really be something I am happy about 🙁

Hey, as long as it's Eliza on my screen I'm happy, no matter what she's in. I do see your point, though.

Yeah, but Eliza said it would lessen the mystery of the character. That was a few years ago though, 'cause in a recent interview she said she's open to ideas.
 
Hopefully, in this new show, dead people will ask her for help. And her character's name will be Tru Davies. 😉

Yay..its cool to see buffy actors on other shows(even if they arent as great as buffy)
I hope its just as good or better as tru calling cause i liked it to i just wish it would have stayed on longer 🙂
 
It's always good news to hear that Eliza has a new project, especially a chance to play a lead role. She's paid her dues as someone's sidekick, daughter, girlfriend, or whatever. As much as I loved "Tru Calling," it's not the first time my favorite shows have been canceled and some garbage has remained.

"Twilight" sounds interesting, but it'll be hard to balance the two elements. "Forever Knight" did a fairly good job of it, but it just didn't catch on with the right people.
 
I am all for watching an Eliza show. I am not sure how I feel about Nurses really because I have always thought of ED as a badass kind of character actor. Not saying she can't do more. I think it's just the way I like it best. So ya I have not looked up Nurses but I am guessing it's a 30 min sitcom? I hope not tho.
