Eliza Dushku was 17?

When faith came into buffy was eliza dushku realy only 17 because she looked older than that to me, does anyone know how old other cast members where when they first started?

I read an article, about Eliza a few days ago.It says that after college, when she 17 or 18, she auditioned for Faith, and got it.So she was either 18, or 17 when she first came on Buffy.When Sarah first started Buffy, she was only 18 years old.Her co-stars were all in their 20's and up.

I was surprised too when I found out how young Eliza was. Sarah was young too when she started, but that was two years earlier.. And Alyson is 30.. that's surprising too, she looks so young..

Eliza was born in December 1980 and Faith was introduced to the show in Fall of 1998 making her 17 at the time of filming and turning 18 later on in the season.
