Eliza in new TNT pilot!

Yeah, I hope this is the one for Eliza. She's had such bad luck with her series in the past (Okay, a 2 season run isn't exactly a flop, but it's not a long run, either) I just hope that there can be enough crime in a "small pacific northwest" town to keep a team of detectives busy on a weekly basis. (Maybe there's an international arms dealer there called the Doctor who deals in Suvolte eggs...nah, never work)
 
Hmm, another crime drama? I sure wish we could see some originality out of Hollywood. That's the 3rd Whedon alum in a crime/cop show.
 
I'm not all that nuts for crime drama shows but I hope this one gets a good bite and that Eliza does well in it 🙂 Always nice to have her back on TV.
 
I have always like DB Sweeny and still sore that his X-files sister show got canceled, but his series just sounds like faux Numbers to me. The Eliza series? Please. No. Thanks though! It lost me with her father showing up at her doorstep and instantly becoming her partner. Sorry. No.
 
Not a big fan of crime drama, but I'll defnitely check it out if Eliza's starring.
It sounds maybe a little more interesting than most crime dramas too. Hopefully someone awesome is cast as her father.
 
I can see Eliza playing a cop and crime drama's are fairly popular right now so this show could do well. Worth checking out for sure.

Eliza's in it so ill check it out, *sigh* i miss tru calling and dollhouse, two awsome shows cancelled. Hope she finds success here, all the best to her 🙂
 
I hope for the best, expecially since a lot of the articles I've read about her don't really paint her in a positive light. She's getting the rep. of being a bad actress. Not sure why, maybe the straight to dvd movies. I absolutely adore her, I made a twitter account just to be nosey about her and Alyson.

Eliza Dushku will no longer be involved with the new TNT pilot Bird Dog.

Last week, news broke that the 29-year-old Dollhouse alum would take part in a new drama on the cable network. Bird Dog is about a female cop who teams up with her father, also on the police force, to solve crimes.

"We have mutually & AMICABLY decided to part ways on Bird Dog due to creative differences," Eliza explained on her Twitter. "No worries/fears/tears".

Deadline reports that Ashley Williams (Good Morning, Miami) and Gerald McRaney (Major Dad) have been cast as the leads in the project.

The already have someone else cast. Oh well.
 
Since this wasn't really a show I was interested in I can't say that I am too sad about it, but I hope to see Eliza in else something soon (preferably TV cause her movies tend to... well not rock my world)
 
I hope this one lasts. I miss seeing eliza on tv. I thought tru calling was original, and I miss that show, this does sound just like another crime drama with a father daughter twist, but i hope it works!

Eliza has already left the project and they have casted another actress.
 
Aww this sucks, i was hoping for her to get another role on tv. ;(
I heard about this a while ago too. I suppose it just wasn't meant to be' *cries*
ha kidding.
