Eliza Sells Her Stake!

A stake used by Eliza in her role as Faith on Buffy is being auctioned at Ebay.

$430... erm... considering i don't have paypal or anything I don't think I could bid! But I can't afford to spend £300 on a stake!
 
OMG, thanky for the news !!!! I like the pic so much, lol, & btw, I would keep it if I were her, like memory. But well, maybe she just wanna be kind to her fans, lol.
I wish I had this stake, lol, I could use it on some ppl, he he he, I feel like a murderer sometimes, mhuahahahaha

Hmmm. I really don't think this is a stake she actually used in the show.


This auction is for a BTV show used, collectible, round, wood stake in excellent condition just like the one used by FAITH in the episode "Faith, Hope & Trick" of  "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".  (See scan number 3 below where Faith is holding this stake in her hands.)

For starters, it's not even sharp. I could understand if they smoothed it down for safety reasons, but it definitely takes away some of the feel about it. And the way they worded the description there doesn't put much confidence in me. I'm not saying they are trying to trick people, I just believe it could be easy for people to misinterpret and believe they're getting something they're not. It could have very easily been a prop stake that hung around in the background, or used to practice with offscreen, or one they carved just in case they needed a backup. It's "like the one used" in "Faith, Hope & Trick," but I'm sure if it did actually appear in a different episode, they'd specify which one. Eliza had the stake, at least long enough to sign it, but I'm sure it's not the only one she has locked away in a memory chest.
 
That's a lot of money for a piece of wood. It would be nice to own something like that, but as Allison pointed out, its probably not the actual stake used.
 
It's supossed to be an authentic replica :S, whatever, $ 430 is a lot of money!

A BB massacre... hmm, donno, then we would be alone in here, it'd be sad + most of ppl are nice, but what about going in other forum & kill them all so that BB would be the only one site remaining & would be at the top of the list?
