Faith could return for Angel finale

Eliza Dushku appeared on On Air with Ryan Seacrest earlier this week where she discussed the cancelation of Angel and the fans effort to save the show.
The former Buffy star admitted that she was shocked and angry about the decision from the WB and went on to express her sympathy for the the fans saying how horrible it is for them to lose Buffy one year and Angel the next. She then added that she fully supports all the fans working hard to save the show.
Rumours are circulating that Dusku could reprise her role of Faith and appear in the season finale which may well turn out to be the shows final episode ever. Although currently starring in Tru Calling, Dushku will be free to appear and has always expressed an interest in returning to Angel. Sadly, this may be her last opportunity. Let's hope not...
 
Go Eliza! Good to see that ONE of our slayers is backing the show! I'm signing EVERYTHING and SENDING everything I can! WE CAN'T LOSE ANGEL!!!

Let's be honest, Buffy was THE slayer on "Buffy : The Vampire Slayer" but on "Angel", Faith has always been THE slayer. She did way more episodes and brought so much to the show: the whole new aspect of redemption for a human and trying so hard to defeat(but from her point of view, save) Angelus. So if I wanted any slayer to send Angel with a bang, Faith with Eliza would be my #1 choice.
 
I Think you lot are being harsh on poor old SMG, its not a case of her not wanting to come back for the season finale, its a case of commitments... contractually she is obliged to fulfil her time on 'The Grudge' and 'Scooby Two' that includes Promo, filming, production and all that poo.... not forgetting her personal life. She's given us seven years as have other cast members, give the girlie a break 🙂

Besides bringing in Buffy for the season finale would be or look a touch desperate... Faith would be a much better option 🙂
 
I'd love to see Eliza back as Faith, especially being this may be her last chance...

That's really great of Eliza to say such things to us fans. But also guys let's not forget that she too has her own commitments...Tru Calling for example.

Yeah,but she cares for us,the fans,..I think she'll make an appearance😀
 
I think Eliza's restrictions are less demanding, as she is in the country (and im guessing still LA) plus I think the company dont mind her going away to do Angel as it wont cost much and they can do other stuff while shes not there.
 
I would love to see Eliza appear, and I think that she would. I was just simply saying that she too has a show of her own, so hopefully it won't prevent her from showing up on the finale.
 
i think the hardest thing about losing angel will be losing all opurtunities for faih. she is my overall favourite to ever enter the buffyverse. I love her so much.

And as for bringing SMG into the finale looking desperate. look around, us fans are desperate. But that isnt the point. angel was meant to become human at the end of all this, it was meant to be, and he is meant to be with buffy. the fans should at least get that much.
 
Eliza is so great. I love her! I'm glad she voiced how she was feeling about the cancelation of Angel and I hope we see her in the series finale. I'd love to see Faith one last time.
