Comicbook.com covered Fandomfest in Louisville, Kentucky this weekend. During the event, Eliza Dushku was asked what she thought of all the Marvel Comics movies.

Dushku said, “I enjoy it, but I’m not one of those people that’s like, ‘Hey, they ruined it, because they didn’t fix that one detail of that character.’ I don’t like assassinate the creators of the art when it’s not on point. I think that it’s a representation and doesn’t necessarily ought to be on point.”

In regards to what character she would like to play if she could pull some strings with Josh Whedon to be in the Avengers, Dushku said, “I don’t know. I feel like Scarlett Johannson said recently, I’m not going to be comparing myself to her, but she said something like, ‘I consider myself an actor for hire. And if somebody is inspired and sees me in a certain way that’s exciting.’”

“And I mean I’ve been voicing the green chick, She-Hulk, now for two seasons,” added Dushku. “We’re in our second season of Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. And that might be kind of fun.”

I'm not all that familiar with the character, but if she wants to play it, I'll certainly be happy to pay to see it.
 
That's hilarious. I mean, honestly, that has to be the biggest joke there is. Eliza Dushku as She Hulk just makes me laugh..
 
I have no response to this other than Eliza can do anything she puts her mind too. Yeah you go the perfect PC answer, thanks and good night!

Looking like a supermodel face wise is not a problem, just not too skinny. There's got to be some young actress somewhere that is tall enough,or make one of those tall supermodel eat healthy for a year and then bring her in.

That's what they did with Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman, but she still doesn't look like She Hulk. It's not about 'bulk' as much as its about body shape.

Even Linda Hamilton worked out and built muscle for T2.. but her frame still negated it.

And that's what you would get with Dushku or a supermodel. If you get an athlete they have years of training, and their body reflects it. They look more natural and organic than those that simply bulked up for a role.
 
The She-Hulk would be CGI just like Bruce Banners Hulk. Mark Ruffalo is not a big guy but he does a great job playing Bruce and the facial expressions on Hulk. So whatever actress they get they are casting for Jennifer Waters not who looks like she hulk.

Now I'm all for Eliza being in anything, I love her, but I just don't think she has a chance in a big Marvel movie. Her acting skills are not the best and they seem to only go after big name talents.

I guess I assumed she would be She Hulk permanently, as that is what a bulk of her 'popular' comics were.

that woman should had never been wonder woman. Linda hamilton is a bad example, she's a small woman.

i want someone that looks feminine and at the same time amazonian, kind of like a taller version of Sandahl Bergman from Conan the barbarian. I know that there are actress out there that could fit the bill but stupid Hollywood no longer cast for the right look

there are, whether in canada or in europe, hollywood has become mess up and rarely cast for the right look.

That all depends on how they are going to use She Hulk and the story they want to tell. I just don't think Marvel would keep her in permanent hulk form, 1)since they have no plans for She-Hulk as of right now, therefore if they did bring her in it would be a small role and I don't think that's something you do with a small character. 2) I think it limits the stories you can tell with the characters, although it does open up a sort of X-Men thing where, can society expect some one it is mutated physically. No I haven't read the comics so I don't know what She-Hulk really does, but is there a movie in there that people would go see. So I do think if they ever get around to She-Hulk she would still be in her human form most of the time, maybe she wouldn't be as reserved about going into hulk form like Banner is, cause I think she can control it right? Unlike Banner. So we would get more She-Hulk, but I still think they would keep her as Jennifer Walters.

Well there's what you want, and then there's what the studio is going to do. And Marvel has never been one to stick strictly to the comics, they just do what they think is best for the movie. And let's face it there's not a lot of talented actresses over 6ft with the kind of build needed to pull off a She-Hulk, and since Hulk is GCI it makes sense to be consistent with that. You can't all of a sudden put a tall women in green makeup and say well she's the same as this guy. I think Marvel has the kind of humor where they would just point out that it's makeup in the movie.

So again they are not casting for She-Hulk, they are going to cast a talented actress regardless of size to play the human form. And back to Eliza, if Marvel says "hey you're going to have to put on some muscle", I think she'd be all for it. Gal Gadot had to work out to play WW. I'm not going to judge until I see BvS though. Eliza can certainly act better than Gal so maybe she has a chance.
 
I think we're fooling ourselves if we think that Hollywoodland would cast someone with actual hulkish-bulk so to speak. Whoever it is - it's gonna be a skinny girl with potentially defined arms and abs, visiblility of muscles more reliant on diet than strenght training.

Like this girl ^^ Gal Gadot. If a waif can be Wonder Woman then surely Eliza can play She-Hulk.

It doesn't limit the character at all.. the bulk of her stories are BECAUSE she is hulked out all the time. She's a 'normal' person.. She's not a big green rage monster.
