Eliza Wants To Be She Hulk

If they really wanted a "real life" she-Hulk, they'd hire a dam body builder that can act, I'm sure that exist somewhere out there.

The fact is that wouldn't sell, Hollywood would rather hire a sexy skinny girl, even if it doesn't match the description.

Heck, at this point and time they don't even make movies about female superheroes. How many guy superhero movies did we get in the last few years. Like 1-. How many woman superhero did we get. That's right, none.

She Hulk is sophisticated and intelligent.

Not in the comics I've read. She's more of a fun, kooky superheroine. She's smart sure, but sophisticated? She doesn't take herself that seriously.
Eliza's voice does manage to capture a lot of that in the cartoon- which is really the only thing Eliza's basing her own desires off.

I can't see there being a She-Hulk cameo in the future of Marvel films, she's a fair way down the list I believe.

Again, not in the cartoon, which is what Eliza is talking about.
It's like Kevin Conroy saying that he wants to be Batman because he's the 'voice' of Batman for the cartoons/computer game (in fact he's said those sort of things in the past- about himself being the definitive Batman), I'm sure this is just idle talk.

It doesn't limit the character at all.. the bulk of her stories are BECAUSE she is hulked out all the time. She's a 'normal' person.. She's not a big green rage monster.
Again to me that just feels like something more out of the X-Men universe. I just don't see Marvel sticking with that. Could be why they really aren't thinking about doing a She-Hulk character. And like Blaze said, they'd hire a sexy but talented actress for the role, so why do so if she's going to be in hulk form the whole time. To me it just doesn't make sense with the direction Marvel is going in.
She Hulk is sophisticated and intelligent. That is not really Eliza's strength. I still cant see it.
Eliza is very smart actually, she;s just kind of a goof sometimes, which is why I love her. And does She-Hulk wear suits? I think that would be the human form, but we've seen Eliza dress up in Dollhouse before a few times, and she looks cute in glasses. So I'm not seeing a problem here. But like Topher said this character is far down the line if ever. Although I would have thought for sure they would've introduced Jennifer Walters in Cap3 Civil War. That sounds like it'd be the perfect time to do so. And if they do and it's just huge secret (which I don't think so) then that would mean they've already casted the actress. Now it depends on how old they would go with She-Hulk. Not sure how much younger than Bruce she is suppose to be. And I'm not sure how old Bruce is suppose to be in the movies either.

To the best of my knowledge she does not have a 'human' form any longer. She hasn't had a human form for years.

edit:
Actually I changed my mind... I would settle for Eliza as She-Hulk on Netflix. I think that could work.

Again that's the comics, what they do in the movies is separate. Netflix would actually be a good fit for She Hulk. But I think the already have their plates full with the TV shows as well.

Personally, I think Catwoman would be a better fit for Eliza. She does a good job voicing She-Hulk but it's not really her cup of tea in a live-action format.

I agree
Eliza looks old, im sorry, her time has past. She's too scrawny, im sorry.

She's only 34, which was Michelle Pfeiffer's age when she played Catwoman. I can't argue about Eliza having gotten a bit thin, but actors have been known to bulk up for roles, so who knows? Since neither role requires a specific age she's still got a few years on her.

She was cute when she was young but i dont know, i dont find her very appealing.

Michelle Pfeiffer is, unfortunately, one of the very few actors of that age who are even considered for roles like that, and it generally has as much or more to do with their name as it does with their age. Neither Eliza nor Sarah have names all that recognizable outside a very specific group of fans, so no one wants to risk hiring them.

As for bulking up, from what I've seen of Eliza lately, regardless of what role she plays, she plays, she should skip the salad entirely, and go straight to the steak and potatoes. The last few pictures that I've seen of her, she looks like she's recovering from a long illness.

Is She-Hulk really going to be the lead though?
There was talk of it. Introducing Walters in one of the Infinity War movies and for her to be 'hulkisized' in it and get her own movie. They launched that idea when they scrapped the World War Hulk idea... but that was before the Spiderman deal and I know that affected the layout of their movies.

The 'talk' was that She Hulk fit more in line with Doctor Strange, Ant Man and Ms Marvel (or whatever they are calling her) and it really does.

the World War Hulk idea...
They even wanted to introduce Grey Hulk in Age of Ultron as a precursor to WWH. But that idea was scrapped (with the movie). However in some of the early marketing pieces you can still find images and references to Grey Hulk- toys and what not.
