Emma Caulfield launches new official webstore

I really wanted to order the autographed photo of her kneeling, but...

Red flags on this site... not because of Emma but because of the site and its policies.

To place an order, you have to register, and you are required to give your telephone number. Their privacy policy indicates that they will share your phone number with other companies unless you write to them by snail-mail and tell them not to.

You have to sit down and write a letter, and spend a stamp to mail it to them, in order to keep them from selling your phone number to telemarketing lists. And, of course, by the time that letter gets to them they've probably already done so.

Until they put at least an opt-out check box on their registration page, I'd be very careful about registering with that site.

Emma Caulfield signed stuff? That's just...Amazing. But, I'd never be allowed to buy anything, especially with that weird policy. It's nice to look at, though, and if they change that, maybe persuade my parents to let me get something. 😉
 
Oh cool. I'm tempted to order something, although that policy does sound weird.

They can fix the problem just by putting in a check box that allows users to specify that they don't want their personal information shared with others.
 
That's nifty- all Caulfield fans and uber-fans would flock there like....seagulls that like Emma Caulfield. But that is weird about the no opt-out thing- I'm presuming they'll be fixing it soon then coz they'll be major lack of buying with that kind of privacy policy. We all have to shout at enough call centres as it is 😛.
 
Do they come with a certificate of authenticity? I saw no mention of that.

Yes, and they're numbered as well. I was there when she signed them so you can rest assured they're authentic.
