Empty Places: Sarah Sounds pretty sick!

I was just watchin' this episode on Chiller and noticed how horrible Sarah sounds in this ep haha sounds likes super sick. Anyone else notie this?
 
I would be too if I knew the premise of the show I've been on for 7 years was about to be destroyed, or more accurately, get kicked out. Or kicking one of them out. Or... (Okay, I think I've made my point.)

I've noticed it in several S7 episodes actually. Maybe because she was working overtime what with all those speeches and playing the First as well.

The worst for me has to be when the Urok Hai beat her...Her voice was so sore I felt bad for her throat!

But yeah, Sarah often has a sore throat in season 7 I think!
 
Lol I like season 7! I don't think that going onto another season would have been good, I think they were running low on ideas, Its better to go out not a joke. 🙂
 
I think heard her say she was traveling back and forth between the US and Australia shooting Buffy season 7 and Scooby Doo 2 and she gets sick flying too much...
 
Didn't she have laryngitis or something when she was filming Season 7? She does sound awful though.
 
I've always thought she sounded kinda sick in The Killer In me, but other than that I haven't noticed it.. I probably will now though.
 
I think that she was generally ill through a good bit of the last of the season. Not just her voice, but she looks like she had lost more weight than a small woman like her could afford to lose. It did sort of fit in with the story line, though, as though patroling the hellmouth for 7 years and dying twice in the process were finally taking their toll on her.

Lets not forget that she was also shooting a film in Australia during S7. She was flying back and forth throughout.

And, I'd like to point out that Buffy was supposed to look haggard. Where as when she played The First, she looked very well.
 
Never realy noticed it in other episodes until you mentioned it. But, in Empty Places I always chalked it up to the fact that she got her ass handed to her in the last episode that she was...bruised on her throat or something lol
 
I thought someone said in one of the commentaries that Sarah had gotten sick... I can't remember in which one, but I think it was on one of my Season 7 DVDs.
 
I noticed this the first time I watched it. And what's really funny is that her voice starts raspy, then in the middle of the episode it's fine, and then in the end she sounds sick again. It was the order they filmed the scenes lol
 
I remember that and I wanted to ask you people about it! She sounds like she has a sore throat...poor Sarah!

yeah I've noticed this before in a couple of epidodes too. Mostly when she's talking to Clem in his beetle on his way outta town (empty places? i think) and again later on in the season.
