End of Days - I Will Remember You - Connection?

(This has been posted before the ep airs, just so you know)

This is what I just read from The Angel Casefiles Book Volume one in episode "I Will Remember You"

I'll quote it here:

Angel goes back to speak to the Oracles, who confirm that because he is no longer a warrior in the battle between good and evil, the End of Days has begun, and the Soldiers of Darkness are coming. The bottom line is, when the Soldiers come, the Slayer will die, sooner than she otherwise would have, because Angel has been "decommissioned." He asks them to make him what he was again---a vampire with a soul.

I read that and it seemed odd that there we some connections...is it an intentional connection to this episode and what's happening, or do you think it was a coincidence?
 
When the Oracles mentioned "end of days and soldiers of darkness," I believe they were refering to the full-breed demons from the following episode "Hero." Then again, you seem to have an interesting point, considering the fact that Angel's gonna be in the BTVS finale.
 
It might be a connection or it might not be. "End of Days" is a standard name for the time of the apocolypse. It's all over Revelations in the Bible I think.
 
i think it is connected... joss is known for dat yuh know.... bringing back something old and slap it in your face a few times just to say "HOW DARE YOU FORGET IT????!!!"

lol just like the willow being gay and all that was pretty funny when i realized that lol 😀 but hey, to get back to the point.. i do think its connected but i DONT think she will die... but thats just me thinking right 😉
