To anyone who actually still remembers me on these boards:

My boyfriend and I have recently decided to get engaged and I wanted to share the news with everyone here that I love. I'm extrememly excited, but I'm also not stupid, so don't worry. I know I'm young and we have decided to wait until we're out of college to even consider a wedding. My boyfriend has been with me through some of the hardest times in my life and still loves me. For any of you that know me, you know how difficult I am to tolerate sometimes, let alone love me. But for some reason he has stuck around and actually made me a better person. I know very few of my old friends are still on BB, but I just wanted to share one of the happiest times of my life with what family I have left here.

It seems like you and the fiance (isn't that weird? Just wait until you call him your 'husband'. Now that's weird) 🙂 are on the road to a wonderful life.

I don't know you very well, but I wanted to send you my congratulations, anyway.

I got engaged and married kind of young, too (20 and 22, I think). Everything worked out great. Here's three cheers and a hope that it works out great for you, too.
 
I will say congratulations honey and you know me, if you're happy, I'm happy just hope you know to make future decisions with alot of care, ok🙂

Thanks for all the comments. I know how weird this must be for all of you. There was a time in my life where I was on the boards every day, and quite a few of you got to watch me grow up. Especially you StuckInTraffic and BoTD. And just fyi, if things don't work out, i'll be on the next plane to London DDLM 😉

Awwww, honey. I kind of have a......sniffle....and a.....tear! Can't believe how time flies. Seems like yesterday you were 15!

Wasn't an invite but you can come🙂

My words were of caution but not patronising. I just meant that hopefully you and Mike will be together forever so no need to rush any big old decisions ok🙂
