England BB meeting

Argh stop it, I'm in a public library and I cannot read it without wanting to do the hand gestures as well, people will think I'm crazy.


Yeah it really was the awesomest of times, everyone were merry and had fun and that's what it's all about ain't it?!

The world needs more BB meet ups, they make it just a little bit sunnier, no seriously yesterday was the first day in so long that it was actually sunny.

Ah yes, poor elmo on the train, really.. hope she got some sleep at least.. But shouldn't she be home by now? Let's hope..

Aw, but you know I'm so not making fun of you! I have such an accent too, I just think the "hepo", "helmo", "hape" thing was really cute 🙂
 
This is "Helmo" reporting back from the cold and rainy place that is Aberdeen ("Hape" was right about the sunny BB meetings 🙂) to tell Frenchy to pass on a message to a certain someone (you know who I mean!): W M M W M!!!!

I had a wonderful time with you people. I couldn't actually physically say goodbye. I was all choked up when I got on the train. I read about 100 pages into Peter Pan... but about halfway there I fell asleep in the middle of a paragraph! lol. Got about 45 mins kip then straight back into PP. Soooo tired now though.

Oh!!!!.... falling asleep while reading PP.... OMG.... that's not allowed!!! hehe... oh well at least you made it up to quite a lot before falling asleep.. hehe... but you need to finish it right? 😉 hehe
 
Oh, just had a little bit of panic here, for a while there I thought I wouldn't be able to make it at all.. As it turns out, in my hunt for cheap flying tickets I booked my flight home very early on sunday. So I have to go directly to Stansted at 3 in the morning.. Gah, it's gonna be a little stressed with some running, and some taxi or something. But I really wanna meet you guys, gah, stupid stupid booking system that made me book that ticket, yes, I blame the booking system..
 
Oh well you know it can work out... the most important is that you come! lol
Tis ok we're prolly gonna be out at that time and the bus station is in the city center were the clubs are so this all cool... just make sure you dont have too much to carry around with you though.. :happy06:

That's why you never ever should say goodbye, the french were on to something when they invented "A bientot" (should be one of those little accents, but can't find it), it's a small world, and we are all bound to meet again.
 
Yup... A small world indeed... and it's amazing that we could actually meet in the first place considering where we all come from! And I will definitely see what I can do about coming to the next meeting. I really really really wanna come!

Anyways, I wish you all could come the 15th.. Personally I think I'm going back to Birmingham and DV8 next Thursday 😀
 
Alright... I got our venue! I went to the Whetherspoons on Broad Street and it's like HUUUUGE. It's quiet (no music), big enough so that we dont feel we're overcrowding the place, the prices are not like super cheap but it's correct and well... it's not too far from the stations! A little walk to get there will enable you to see Brum's big wheel hehe!

There is an access to a map on that site... and it's easy to find.. Broad Street is Brum's most famous street (clubbing street) and the pub is about in the middle of it! :biggrin:

If it hadn't been for me being on a plane on my way to Glasgow at the time I would totally be there. Promise to take and post lots of pictures, I will just have to live through the rest of you.

WooHoo! I've just read that the new season of Doctor Who starts on Easter Saturday as well...must make sure I get back in time for that 🙂 It's shaping up to be a really good day...
