Right since our football team sucks and we didnt get in Euro I just wondered who the English Scottish and Welsh are hoping wins? Im cant decide to support Spain or Germany!

I'll be watching all game that involve Spain, Italy, Germany and France.


So who you wanna win?
 
lets see.... I suppose i hope Sweden wins, pretty much because of Henrik Larsson.
If not them then i would LOVE to see one of the underdogs winning it just like Greece did 4 years ago.
The only big team i wouldnt mind winning it is Germany.
 
Scotland never qualify for this or the World Cup, although they came close this time beating France twice!

So instead I support Germany.

What cricket is on this summer? England vs. New Zealand...brilliant...football is a stupid game anyway...

Not bitter...no not me...Steve McClaren...HAH! Mrs Pointy would've been a better England manager and she hates football...oh, right...so did McClaren and that was all part of his evil plan...
 
I was dreading no football for 2 months till iremembered Euro 08 was on, what a life saver.
I wonder why it is that the Europeans constantly show the scots/irish/welsh and english how to play football.
why are they so much better? scotland came close but ultimatly, we never made it. its always the same old story.
They should definetly bring back the 'home nations' tournament every 2 years.

Russia will probably be gone superfast, as their soccer team pretty much sucks, but hey, miracles happen.

Well, and Germany... our team is okay, we mostly score high at the soccer world cups, but also here, you never know what happens. Didn't we get beat by Czech Republic last time the Euro was on?

The russian team doesn´t suck. At least they got to the Euros, unlike a certain british team in the same qualifying group. But they have had problema with mentality. If they can fix that they will cause some problems. And let´s not forget they now have o caoch that has done wonders with South korea and Australia. Germany on the other hand can win the whole thing.

No I won´t tell you (again) which team I want to win the tournament. It should be obvious.

Scotland never qualify (although we should be there instead of bloody Italy this time), so usually I support whoever England play, because it's amusing. But this time I can't even do that because they didn't qualify either! So I'm thinking either Croatia or Portugal, the former because their fans were superb when they came here for a friendly recently, and the latter because they have Cris Ronaldo. I haven't decided yet. 😉
 
England won the other night 3-0 I think 🙂 Woot Woot.

I dont get how on paper we have the best team in europe and one of the best teams in the world and we cannot play as a team. Starting to get annoying to be English!

Ha Ha! On paper the best team in Europe/one of best in world? says who? Come on, get real dancing man. This is why england never live up to 'expectations.
They genuinely seem to think they have the best players in Europe, When when really, take away a few good players they aint actually that good.
How is it they constantly, tournament after tournament get beaten by *lesser* teams? And the reason the premiership is strong certainly aint because of the english player.

I rest my case! If they played for their country like they do their Clubs we would have one of the best teams in the world.
