Exactly. I think Anya was asking how many people Buffy had SLEPT with - not how many guys she'd dated.

Dated: 3. (Angel, Riley, Scott)
Slept with: 4. (Angel, Riley, Parker, Spike.)

Obviously, you could argue she "dated" Spike, but she never admitted to it, so I guess it doesn't count.

Parker was that jerk who she slept with in in beginning of Season 4, when she started college. He totally used her.
