Episode 1.06 "Riots, Drills and the Devil" - Airing 9/26/05 (FOX-US)

I know what you mean. This episode was a definite wow. The series rockets up to # 1 on my personal must-see list.

So much suspense and excitement. I haven't enjoyed a television episode like that since Angel.

And background stuff. I love background stuff. Did you catch the tv news guy talking about Alternative Energy intrigues? Was that an "Ah ha" moment?

God, that poor girl in the room with the bullet-proof glass getting smashed in, and Michael on the roof again, this time looking down at the chaos, ready to swoop in like a superhero.

These moral dillemas he's finding himself in lately are adding a whole new layer of tension. Does he help the guard and endanger his breakout? Does he let the mafia guy snuff out the bum-rapist, or does he break him out, and unleash him on society? Tense, tense stuff.
 
I just tuned in last night, but I think I've got the gist. Prison stories have always struck me as having such vile, depressing themes, characters"”a turn-off. But this does seem exciting. I wonder if it will morph into "The Fugitive" at some point.

I was sitting there like yelling at the television, "Doesn't she have a cell phone?! Why doesn't that glass have that wire stuff in there for just this reason?!"

That was dramatically useful television glass! Like when a cop whacks a windshield with a baton and it instantly shatters. Uh, no. It's safety glass in cars, you have to pound on them, tear through that plastic layer...

Seemed sort of like semi-bulletproof glass in there...but you're right, no wire.
 
Did anybody notice how the inmates could puncture one hole in the window, but try as they might they couldn't make another or make the old one bigger? I thought that was kind of funny.

I can't wait to see if Lincoln makes it as well. I like the whole government conspiracy deal though. Sort of like X-Files minus any demons and aliens...LOL.

As a side note, anybody wonder how much time it must take to draw all the tattoos on Michaels body every time the want to film them? They could have thought of an easier way...😀 Not that I am complaining about seeing his bare chest...😉
 
Hmm never thought of that. He's on the cover of tv guide this week I saw - maybe it will mention it in there. Not that I get tv guide but lol...
 
Yeah, me neither. Its one of those things you pick up and flick through while standing in line to check-out at the store. 😀
