as for episode 12, when I think cordy returns, does anyone else think Cordy's outfit looks A LOT like the one she wore at the 100th episode ofAngel party? Angel's too!!! Was it like, right
after shooting the episode?

Wow... The pics are so great! I wonder what'll happen to Angel in "Soul Purpose." The trailer was interesting. From what I can see, Angel is delusional next week... I think that it will reveal why he's been so grumpy lately.

Yes the close are the same, both Cordy's and Angel's.... I think that they might have wore it just to fit that 100'th epsiode mood, cause James' close is different....

The episodes look great. Thanks for posting those pictures. Can't wait to see "Soul Purpose". The episode looks like it's going to be good. Angel does look pretty delusional in the trailer. Maybe he's spending too much time in that place. It could get to you. lmao

Does anyone else notice that Angel is in the sun in the first picture?

Cordy looks pretty kick-ass!

Viewers:
Fox: 18.40 million, CBS: 10.54, NBC: 9.62, ABC: 8.89,
WB: 4.98, UPN: 3.01

A18-49:
Fox: 7.6/19, ABC: 3.8/10, NBC: 3.3/ 9, CBS: 2.9/ 8,
WB: 2.1/ 5, UPN: 1.1/ 3

-Yesterday's Winners:
American Idol (Fox), King Of Queens (CBS), The Bachelorette (ABC), Law & Order R (NBC)

-Yesterday's Losers:
It's All Relative (ABC)

-That's A Wrap:
CBS's Becker departed last night after a five-and-a-half season, 130-episode run.

-Ratings Breakdown:
With American Idol in the mix, Fox is now the network to beat on Tuesday and Wednesday. On that note, a whopping 18.2/26 for Idol in the overnights from 8-9 p.m. fueled Fox to an easy Wednesday victory, and an overall 54 percent advantage over second place NBC. Among adults 18-49, and based on the fast affiliate ratings, an 11.9/31 for American Idol was 16 percent higher than the competition - all five networks - combined.

Take a look:

-Adults 18-49:
Fox/American Idol: 11.9/31

ABC/My Wife and Kids R/It's All Relative: 2.7/ 7
NBC/The Apprentice R: 2.5/ 7
CBS/60 Minutes II: 2.1/ 5
WB/Smallville: 2.1/ 5
UPN/Enterprise R: 0.9/ 2

Based on the overnights, CBS's older skewing 60 Minutes II (7.8/11) ranked second in the 8 p.m. hour followed by a repeat of My Wife and Kids (5.7/ 8) and an original episode of the once promising It's All Relative (4.4/ 6) on ABC. Tied for the number four spot was a repeat of NBC's The Apprentice and the WB's Smallville (5.1/ 7 each), with a repeat of Star Trek: Enterprise (2.6/ 4) on UPN sixth. As a reminder, Enterprise will be moving to the Wednesday 9 p.m. hour in March. Also of note is the debut of NBC's The Apprentice in its new Thursday 9 p.m. time period tonight.

At 9 p.m., and based on the overnights, CBS's King of Queens won the 9 p.m. half-hour with an 8.4/12 followed by a second place 7.5/11 for the series finale of Becker. Had Becker been a newer series, chances are it would have been renewed for the remainder of the season. On ABC, The Bachelorette (8.4/12) ranked first in the 9 p.m. hour overall with repeats of NBC's The West Wing (6.7/ 9) and Fox's The O.C. (5.8/ 8) holding the number three and four spots, respectively. Although the WB's Angel (4.1/ 5) bested a repeat of UPN's America's Next Top Model (3.3/ 5) by 24 percent, growth of 27 percent for Model out of the Enterprise repeat is proof positive how hot this reality hour is.

To compare, Angels ratings of last week: (3,6/6)

Among adults 18-49, The Bachelorette scored an easy 9-10 p.m. win with a 5.0/12 followed by CBS comedies King of Queens (4.3/11) and Becker (3.5/ 9), Fox's The O.C. repeat (3.3/ 8), NBC's The West Wing repeat (2.6/ 6), the WB's Angel (2.0/ 5) and a repeat of UPN's America's Next Top Model (1.4/ 3).

At 10 p.m., a repeat of NBC warhorse Law & Order (11.5/18) outdelivered CBS's 48 Hours Investigates (6.8/10) by a hefty 69 percent in the overnights. Although ABC's Celebrity Mole Yucatan was third (6.1/ 9 - so long, Keshia Knight Pulliam), among adults 18-49 the reality hour ranked second with a 3.7/10.

Thats good ratings for like the over night ratings(there are over night ratings and national ratings which is higher)

This is how they explain it at C:TP
A note about the ratings listed here: Remember that overnight ratings (often referred to as metered market ratings) is the data from "set top boxes" in approximately 20,000 households in 55 of the largest markets in the U.S. (see the complete list). This sample covers 68.96% of all households in the U.S. These "set top boxes" track what is being watched only, not who in the household is watching what (i.e. demographic information). Overnights obviously skew to the urban audience due to the viewership being in the largest markets.

Fast national ratings is the preliminary data from 5,000 "people meters" in households across all 210 markets (see the complete list). This sample covers 100.00% of all households in the U.S. These "people meters" measure not only what is being watched but also who in each household is watching what in order to gather demographic information as well as the number of actual viewers (not just households) watching the program. This preliminary data does not take into account scheduling changes across the country, most notably those in the pacific time zone due to live events such as sports (hence why we list them by time slot, not program). Several days after the preliminary (or "fast" as they are more commonly known) national ratings are issued, a final national rating and share is determined for all programs on all the broadcast networks (i.e. ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, UPN, the WB and PAX), as well as the total number of viewers (in millions) that watched the program. Final national ratings are generally issued in a weekly report each Wednesday featuring rankings for each program on how it did compared to the rest of the programs that aired in said week.

Overall keep in mind fast nationals and overnight ratings are two different pieces of data from two different samples. Overnights and nationals are collected separately so one can see how a show is performing in the specified larger markets (via overnights) and nationally (via nationals).

Well, it's a good read and it in fact does explain how the ratings are construced. But in Magui's article, I can't see what rating means what, what it relates to etc etc.

Is there perhaps a chart of them being published somewhere, that anyone knows of? I'm better at analyzing those.

You're better off reading the nielsen ratings, but I can't make sense of overnight ratings. Soul Purpose, for example, had an overnight of 3.6/6 and garnered 3.30 million people.

Soul Purpose nielsen ratings

Soul Purpose got a disappointing 3.30 million rating, losing to a repeat of UPN's Top Model. This may be the worst rating of the season. Does anyone know what Harm's Way got?
