Episode 10: Soul Purpose~Episode 11: Damage

Thanks Magui, that really cleared things up for me.

It seems to me like Angels doing less and less. It has been mostly going downhill this entire season.

What do you all think about the things Andrew revealed about the scooby gang members.

First of all they've all split up, the core scoobies.

Buffy is with Dawn in Rome. (Have to give it to her, she has taste!)

Xander is in Africa.

Willow and Kennedy are still together and in Sao Paulo (Brasil), though most of the time they hang in Rio de Janeiro.

Giles and a handful of other watchers lead the Council from England. Andrew is his protegé.

All of the Scoobies think Angel and his have gone evil :| obviously Buffy doesn't trust him anymore.

What do you all make of this? Does this mean the end of Bangel?

well until we hear from Buffy, I will leave it alone. But how much of Wolfrman Hart does Buffy know about?

Obvouisly Angel is not what he was before Conner, I think that was the turning point of the series. Conner doesn't come to the show, I think that Team Angel is still on the streets or the hotel (whatever happened to that place) and Cordie is not in a coma.

Thou, that' just me. Then again Buffy always overreacted around Angel in LA.

Angel's been picked up three times before with worse ratings then now. Season 5 is Angel's best year with ratings and as long as it doesn't drop below 3 then we should be good.
 
She's probably heard bad things about W&H

But is any explanation why everyone is everywhere? Or is it just random? Dunno why but Willow doesn't seem the Brazil girl.
 
I hate to say this as I've spent so much time resisting it (Spangel, Spuffy, Cordy/Angel) but I'd have to say that as long as Buffy is still alive, there is no end to Bangel. Not in the long run anyway.

I see, well it's just that they started out with over 5, it would've been nice if they could've kept at that level.

This has significance, right? Sao Paulo is the political capital of Brazil. Rio is the party capital.

I get the impression Kennedy and Willow are goofing off at the beach.
 
So have I, plus the mayority of the Rio citizen is female. I believe it's 5:1 ... I wish I lived there 😀
 
I dont think that Scoobies think that Angel is evil, because if they thought that he was evil I think that Andrew wouldve handled things a lot more seriously and his orders wouldve been different. They just have lost trust in Angel and co. since they have taken over an evil Lawfirm. They probably know that Angel is trying to turn it good but they also think that its doing the opposite and that Angel and co. arent that trustful anymore.
 
Most shows start off a lot higher and continually lose viewers over the season, new people tune in at the the beginning and either forget about it, or decide it's not for them (which, hello this is one of the best shows out there whats wrong with you people, lmao). They usually pick up a little bit towards the end again though.
 
Damage error

Andrew says it's been six months since Chosen, but it's been eight months. I think it was six months when they filmed this episode and they had no idea when it'd air.
 
Chosen happened in like mid May. In real time, it's been 8 months. But our summer break and Angel's were not the same. Since Conviction was set 19 days after Chosen, that takes out at least two months, putting it at around six.
 
I don't think they think he is evil....

just they know what Wolfran & Hart does and who they represent, and I think they are concerned that Angel is in way over his head.

The other Scoobs are probably where Andrew says they are, but how much does he really know? I still have to wonder how much Andrew really is Giles's protege, and how much is his own fabrication. He could be Giles's unwitting bane. He is quite the story teller and all.
 
I think that we have to believe Andrew until we either see Giles or get something from Giles about all of this. He is the most reliable.

Also I think what would help is if willow and ken came up from Brasil, they are also reliable.
