Over the course of my Buffy career, I've noticed that there are just some episodes that go together... like pb&j or macaroni&cheese and other such cliches. I just associate them with each other. Some make sense and others... not so much. So here's a short list... the ones I get from 1-3 and random others from other seasons. (Btw, they're consecutive eps)

Welcome to the Hellmouth/ The Harvest
The Pack/Angel
Nightmares/The Puppet Show
Halloween/ The Dark Age (not consecutive... but on the same disk!)
What's My Line pt1/ What's My Line pt2
Ted/ Bad Eggs
Innocence/ Surprise
Phases/B,B,&B (Are these consecutive though?)
Becoming Pt 1/ Becoming pt2
Homecoming/Band Candy
Revelations/Lover's Walk
Amends/Gingerbread
Bad Girls/Consequences
Graduation Day pt1/Graduation Day pt2
The Freshmen/Living Conditions
Triangle/Checkpoint
Bargaining pts1&2
Once More With Feeling/ Tabula Rasa
Entropy/Seeing Red
Villains-Grave (more than two, but we can make an exception for Dark Willow)

I see what you mean. I always think of Once more with feeling and Tabula Rasa together.

Even though there's the obvious connection in the end of IWMTLY and the start of The Body, I would always watch The Body together with Forever, not with IWMTLY, if I had to watch them in pairs. A case could be made, though, that these should be regarded as a "threesome" of eps, just like Villains-2TG-Grave.
 
Obviously Bad Girls/Consequences is the best. 😀

I don't get it in some episodes that I'll put in thicker letters. Can you tell me where and when on the episodes that's link to one another?

Min, I kinda see where the connection between Revelations and Lovers Walk is. They're both episodes where Angel and Buffy are trying to reconnect on a more platonic level but realise that they can't deny they have something more between. Does that make sense? Like in Revelations they kiss, and the rest of the Scoobies come to terms with him being back and in Lovers Walk they try to see if they've matured enough to be friends yet, and at this point they haven't.

I did say some of these didn't make much sense, but I'll try to explain! 🙂
The Pack/Angel are both kinda dark episodes and more focused on the male characters, I suppose.
Nightmares/The Puppet show are two season 1 eps that don't really stand out to me. They're good, but they're surrounded by great ones.
Ted/Bad Eggs are the two episodes directly preceding Innocence/Surprise... When I watch them, I know what's coming and they both have sort of the same tone to me. But maybe that's just the expectancy I feel...
Phases/BB&B is the building of two semimajor relationships after *the* relationship has crashed and burned. Willow and Xander find their people!
Amends/Gingerbread are the seasonal eps. Wintery goodness.
Homecoming/Band Candy are fun and seem to me to just be readjusting the viewers to Sunnydale High.
Triangle/Checkpoint I guess is about power and happy endings. Buffy tells the Council to stfu and Xanya and Willow coexist.
Storyteller/Lies My Parents Told Me are both about redemption in the characters we don't exactly see needing it.

Yah, generally the part1/2 episodes go together. And I have to agree with Emzzie about Tabula Rasa and Once More with Feeling.
 
I always think of 'Consequences' and 'Dead things' together because they both deal with a Slayer killing a human.
 
The part 1/part 2 episodes aside...these are probably my favorite pairs:

Pangs/I Will Remember You
Once More with Feeling/Tabula Rasa
Bad Girls/Consequences
The Freshman/Living Conditions
The Body/Forever
Surprise/Innocence

In fact, it bothers me to watch some of these without then watching their pairs.
 
I see what you mean. I see the last 5 episodes of S6 as a big epic. Rarely ever do I watch Entropy and not watch the other 4 in one day (or maybe the next day).

Also Smashed/Wrecked/Gone (obvs)

And OMWF/Tabula Rasa. (Yes, they're all from S6. That's all I can think of at atm)
