i just wasnt posting because i thought it was ridiculous that no one else does. but anyway, when i saw it, id already seen future episodes first, so i knew how it would end. i didnt know about that weird hypnotizing-thing drusila could do though, or that she killed kendra, so all the stuff about her was a surprise. i thought it was cool how we saw the flashbacks of when angel first saw buffy. and it helped me understand that quote better: "i watched you, and i saw you called. it was a bright afternoon out in front of your school. you walked down the steps...and...and I loved you". and the scene itself was very sweet, as well as interesting to see buffy "back in the old days". i liked how the episode was a very big growing point for willow. she did her first big spell, which would lead her to later become dark willow. its like the beginning where that all started. i dont know if anyone knew where that plot was gonna go (and if anyone did, it was probly just joss). and i thought that whole scene where xander was waiting by willow and talking to her, hoping she'd wake up was very sweet. and i felt really sorry for him when she woke up and then said oz's name. um...what else?...i loved the whole fight seen with buffy and angel, and i almost cried when she killed him, even though i knew it was gonna happen, and that he would be back anyway. oh, and also, when the mom found out buffy was the slayer, and they were arguing about buffy going out, because she was having trouble handling the whole thing, that was sad too. i think when her mom told her if she left she couldnt come back, she was just caught up in the emotion and hoping that buffy would just listen to her and stay. and i was sad when she found that note on the bed, and she realized that buffy wasnt going to listen and was actually not coming back. it must be terrible for a mother's daughter to leave her 🙁. there was no wondering for me about buffy leaving, because i knew what would happen next. finally, i liked how spike allied himself with buffy, and i like his little "happy meals with legs" thing. and it was funny when they go to her house, and try to pretend that spike is a drummer and she is in a band to cover up with her mom. i also like the short part when buffy is in the kitchen, and spike is talking to buffy's mom, because i always thought they had an interesting dynamic together (like in lover's walk and when they watch passions). he's evil and a vampire, but still she treats him just like a normal guy, as he points out later when she dies. all in all, i liked this episode! 😀 it was very sad, and also very good, and the beginning of so many things...*insert dramatic music*!
EDIT: whoa! i didnt realize i wrote nearly that much! ...whoa! :looking:
