Wow those were some awesome episodes, I was right along with tru, the woman should have let him drown.... But that would have killed the show i guess. I agree the Tru- jack interaction is awesome.. makes the show even better i cant wait till next weeks episode but i thought Tru Calling was cancelled?
 
Wow, those two episodes were amazing! Tru Calling is back with a vengeance! I love the Tru-Jack interaction, as well, but I also love Tru-Harrison. They just clicked. The two different stories were amazing, too. I like how Tru had to go out and try to save Kate again in the first one and in the second how she had a double rewind and got framed by Jack. I kept cursing Jack through the entire two episodes.

These episodes are so great that I'm hoping Fox will bring Tru back permanantly.

Returning from a basketball-imposed, two-week hiatus, CBS's regular Thursday lineup reclaimed its perch atop the ratings -- by a wider margin than usual, thanks to reruns on NBC.

For the night, CBS averaged a 14.0 rating/23 share, more than double the 7.0/11 for second-place NBC. ABC finished third at 4.2/7, while UPN, 3.5/5, sneaked past FOX, 3.2/5, for fourth. The WB trailed with a 1.6/2.


CBS also won handily among adults 18-49, posting an 8.0 rating in the key ad demographic. NBC was second at 4.3, and ABC and FOX tied for third at 2.1. UPN averaged 1.9 and The WB 0.9.
"Survivor: Palau" kicked off the night with a 12.1/19 for CBS. Reruns of "Joey" and "Will & Grace" averaged 5.2/8 for NBC, beating the 4.1/7 average for two episodes of ABC's "Jake in Progress." "Tru Calling" returned to FOX with a 3.6/6, good enough for fourth. "WWE Smackdown!" put UPN in fifth, ahead of an hour of "Blue Collar TV" on The WB.

At 9 p.m., "CSI" drew the night's biggest audience, averaging 17.1/26 for CBS. NBC improved to 9.1/14 with "The Apprentice." "Smackdown!," 3.7/6, jumped up to third, moving ahead of "Extreme Makeover" on ABC and a second "Tru Calling" on FOX. The WB's repeat of "The Starlet" trailed.

CBS completed its dominant night with a 13.4/22 for "Without a Trace" at 10 p.m. An "ER" repeat drew a 6.6/11 for NBC, and ABC's "Primetime Live" came in at 5.2/9.

Darn, I just checked out the episode summaries at the fox site and it seems that I missed the first episode and caught the second. My cable must have messed up somehow. I think the timeslot that I recorded was offset by an hour ahead or something. I did enjoy it though!
 
These are the first two Tru Calling episodes I've EVER turned into, and I personally loved them! I'm wondering about the tru/jack past though? Anyways, these episodes rocked so much, I think I'll tune in next week :clap2:
 
I just watched the two epps last night (thank goodness for VCR's).

I am happy that it is back. Finally, a TV show that I can watch again, even if it is only for a couple more epps.

The show will be alot more interesting now, because not only does Tru have to save the life of the person who sent her rewinding, but she has to elude Jack now as well. It has so many more angles and problems that could happen, as seen in the premiere. I was convinced that Tru was not going to get out of the jail problem she was having. I totally did not expect the detective to ask for help. I really thought that she was in for it.

Here's to Tru Calling. Perhaps the only good television for Buffy/Angel viewers.

yes, that caught me by surprise as well!
I've only seen the first one so far, and I was really looking forward to it. But I have to admit that it bored me, and I loved the first season. I'll give the second episode a go and see how that goes.
 
I am just HEARTBROKEN that we only have 4 more episodes left. I swear I LOVED the first two of Season two. I adored all of Season one but they really did a great job with these first two eppys. I loved the Jack/Tru dynamic. Fantastic tension. And the father trying to bring Harrison into their mix. I wonder if Harrison might get the calling of some sort? The father implied that a little when they were having drinks.

And I really liked how Jack and the father were trying to 'end' the calling..as in put it out of comission by having Tru arrested. That episode was SO tense! It was just interesting because they mentioned that killing the person with the calling doesn't stop it, it just gets passed on.

Wouldn't it be interesting if they got Harrison over to their side, and then plotted to kill Tru, hoping that her calling will get passed on to Harrison (someone they can control and make NOT help people).
 
I loved the two episodes. Was cheering Tru on the whole time. But the thing I didn't like was that in season one you got the chance to kinda solve the mystery, you were right there with her with the clues and everything but with these it was kinda just her trying to stop Jack, which was cool and everything, I just liked trying to figure it out before she did.
