Okay, there has been some talk about having random episdoe discussions. So, I thought I'd start it up.

We'll do an episode, and then discuss it for a while, whatya think?

If my memories are correct then this episode is when Faith clearly shows her turn to the the dark side. I actually really liked this episode, although I thought the ending was a little silly; I understand that they needed Angel to not lose his soul, however the excuse they used as to why the spell failed annoys me. Giles introducing the demon to his wife? Funny, although inappropiate as the entire episode seemed to be on a pretty serious note.

I particularly enjoyed listening to Faith's argument as to why she left Buffy's side. Buffy did always seem to get the credit even though Faith was also the slayer...

This is one my favorite eps in season three! I love how Buffy stands up to Faith (as everyone knows, she's not my favorite character). It's great.

it was ok. i like faith, but it wasnt one of my favorite episodes with her. the whole angel thing really shocked me though, and i liked that.

I liked this episode for what wasn't there. By having Buffy, Giles and Angel formulate a plan off-screen, the writers allowed for a good dose of suspense and surprise with the Angel/Angelus thing. This is one of the episodes that proves Joss and the other writers knew that Buffy fans were more sophisticated than the average TV viewer, by taking the action off the screen, and not having to beat them over the head with the explanations.

I have nothing to add really, except to echo what +Matt+ and KD have already said about the subject matter. Excellently written episode. Oh, and Faith is hot. Thank you.
