I read online that Rm w/ a Vu was supposed to come after I Will Remember You but they rearranged the order - anyone know why, exactly?

Sorry if this had been discussed, I looked around but couldn't find anything.

If that's the case and I've heard about it I've forgotten about it. Wouldn't be such a stretch actually.

Anyhoo. I have no real idea why. The only thing that comes to mind is if itwas planned to en before Hero (and after IWRY) and deal more with Cordelia/Doyle relationship. But all in all I'm clueless and don't feel like googling right now. Hopefully someone comes along with knowledge. Since I'm now curious too.

I read it on imdb, so maybe it isn't true?

Apparently the exchange between Cordelia and Angel in Rm w/ a Vu about her getting peanut butter on the bedsheets refers back to Buffy and Angel in I Will Remember You when they have their post-coital feast of peanut butter, chocolate and ice cream. But Angel is supposed to retain his memories from that day, so surely he'd assume it was him and Buffy?

So now I'm wondering if, because of this exchange, people are assuming the episodes were switched around when in fact, they weren't.

Now I'm even more confused than before.

It was a long time ago I watched the show but didn't Cordelia get something on his bed at some point early on? She tells him when he gets out of the shower or something? Might even be the same episode. Yeah, I'm not helping. Guess I should rewatch the show soon. 😉

Yup. When you can't remember who got peanut butter on which bedsheets and when, it's time for a re-watch! I'm curious about this now too. I don't know why, but knowing about out of order episodes always fascinates me.

IT's quite funny you asked that, because I remember having the DVD and watching them the wrong way round because of the order the episode names appeared on the menu. I was watching them horizontally instead of vertically. And it as quite confusing. But I don't know about your question :? Maybe they couldn't get Doyle's vision of Buffy into another episode, so they put it in Rm w/ a Vu, so before I Will Remember You.

I've heard this rumor before too, not quite sure where though, but anyway...the thing about the peanut butter. Wouldn't that not work anyway? 'Cause Angel got the Oracles to take back that whole day, so him and Buffy wouldn't have actually been in bed together to get peanut butter on his sheets. The peanut butter wouldn't still be there, right? Maybe that's why they ended up not having the episodes in that order. Or maybe it's just that I'm very tired right now and not making any sense...

I'm gonna agree with this. After all, the Oracles did take back the entire day, meaning that ALL ACTIONS never happened.

Henceforth, no peanut butter. It's probably just one of those weird things that we all pick up on after watching the show so much, and automatically assume that it was written that way......god, i need to get a life😛

I remember reading it on imdb, but I didn't find that info anywhere else. I'm not sure there's any validity to that rumor. I mean, it doesn't make sense, because Hero starts out with Angel telling Doyle what happened in IWRY.
