Do you have any favourites, or have any that you thought should have been called something else or just didn't make sense to you why it was called that?

I think they could have done better than Reptile Boy.

And I sometimes get Wild at Heart and New Moon Rising mixed up so I don't really like those names.

Also Smashed, Wrecked and Gone feel like they should be a three parter because it's like you've smashed something, wrecked it and now it's gone. Those episodes are linked and I could consider Smashed and Wrecked a two parter. But Gone isn't that much like the other two. It does continue on a lot of threads from Smashed and Wrecked but it is the episode following them so you would expect that.

I don't understand the title, "School Hard." Is it referring to "Die Hard"? In general, I think they have clever titles, but I find the one-word ones harder to keep straight in my mind for what the episode was about.

Yes, its always the one word titles I get confused about
‘I Only Have Eyes for You’ is a great title. ‘The Yoko Factor’ is quite a cool unusual one. I think most of the Angelus season 2 BTVS episode titles are really evocative of an element of the story. Surprise, Innocence, Passion, Becoming.

It slightly annoys me when people call Witch 'The Witch', because it misses out on the double meaning of witch/which, which is a big part of the episode. But maybe I'm just being pedantic.

I didn’t even realize that it wasn’t “The” Witch 😱 And I didn’t realize the double meaning either. It is so cool!

I also never noticed that! 20 years on and still serving up wow moments
S7 is not one of my favourites but it does have some of the best titles of any season like the ones below which are all really atmospheric, and would pique my interest in the show even if I had never seen it

Conversations with Dead People
Bring on the Night
The Killer in Me
Lies my Parents told Me

We often use abbreviations for episodes here and one of:

Dead Man's Party
and
Double Meat Palace

should have had a different title because they are both DMP.

I had never noticed that before but they are probably 2 of my 5 worst episodes - must be something about that combination of letters 🙂

I like “Lie to me” , probably because the Buffy/Giles dialogue at the end is one of my favorites.

“Waiting in the Wings” is also a good title.
I dunno, I just like the ones with metaphors or that refer to quotes in show.
“Faith, Hope and Trick” is also pretty clever, but it took me a while to get it. I thought it was a play on “Faith, Hope and Charity”, which it probably is, but I didn’t get why it was like that..
I knew it was Faith because it’s Faith’s first episode,
And only later on did I get that it was Trick because of the villain Trick.
And only recently did I get that it was Hope because of Scott Hope.

@Miss Muffet
Yeah, me too! I keep forgetting Scott ever exsisted…😬

It took me forever to get the 'Hope' part of FH&T.
