episodes that make you say "aw"

Ye gods there are way to many aww moments...

In Hush when Buffy and Riley finally kiss cause niether
of them can talk to screw up the moment.

In Hush when Willow and Tara lock hands and move the
vending machine...and in the end when Tara tells Willow
she's special.

The end of Amends. Knowing the gods wouldn't let
Angel kill himself and they walk off in the snow.


The Prom--Buffy finally recieving recognition for all her heroics

Gift--Buffys speach to Dawn that they play after she jumps.

When Angel gives her the silver cross in season 1 ep 2or is it 1

When Angel gives her the ring in Surprise

When Spike wakes up from his first dream of Buffy and freaks
cause he realizes he wants her.

When Dru carries Spike out of the burning church promising
that she'll make him strong again.

When Angel drinks from Buffy in Graduation.

When Oz panics on Graduation.

Those are just a few. I could fill pages with all the aww moments from this wonderful series!
 
I have sooooo many 'aw' moments! Like in 'Band Candy' when Willow and Xander are playing footsie under the table. In 'Grave' when Xander is hugging Willow, and her hair turns red. In 'Beauty and the Beasts', when Angel hugs Buffy at the end, and sobs into her trousers... I did think that Buffy should've done something about it though- she just stood there like a lemon!
One 'ewwww' moment was when Giles and Buffy's mum were getting off in front of Buffy, in 'Band Candy'.
Anyone got any 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew' moments? PM ME IF YOU HAVE!
 
there are so many awwww moments but the one i'm remembering now is in season finale of season 5? (was it " the gift"?) when you see Spike crying while they're all looking at Buffy's body, omg, that was soo sad

Also when Xander bought Cordy the dress, that was sweet
 
In the prom where buffy got the class protector award i was like awww and tear
 
an awww/cry moment is in 'Forever' when buffy and Dawn argue in the front room and buffy says "I have to do these thing... because when i stop... she's realy gone" and when she runs to open the door and ... ok so all the end of forever is an aww/cry moment! lol
 
yeah thats a aww cry moment too and also in season 6 when evil willow says this in villiains:

WILLOW: It's not going to make a neat little hole. First, it'll obliterate your internal organs. Your lung will collapse. Feels like drowning.
WILLOW: When it finally hits your spine, it'll blow your central nervous system.
WILLOW: The pain will be unbearable, but you won't be able to move. Bullet usually travels faster than this, of course. But the dying? It'll seem like it takes forever.
WILLOW: Something, isn't it? (pensively) One tiny piece of metal destroys everything. (Warren groaning loudly) It ripped her insides out ... took her light away. From me. From the world.
WILLOW: Now the one person who should be here is gone ... and a waste like you gets to live.

thats such a sad part too
 
Homecomming...all because of Willow and Xander, I wish they would have gotten together in the last episodes.
 
oh gosh i can't remember what episode it's from but it's when cordy gives the necklace back to xander and she says it's in her locker but really she's wearing it...bless her cotton socks!!!
 
Oh my! You are all going to make me cry! I had forgotten some of those moments. There are so many to choose from though I agree with all of you! One of the many for me would be in Intervention I think it was when Buffy kisses Spike and he realizes it was the real Buffy not the bot. That gave me the warm fuzzies.
 
one of mine was in Whats My Line Pt.1 when Buffy goes all sweet when Angels in vamp face and kisses him, that made go all ohhh aww, except the lighting was very bad on Angels face
 
I would have to go with The Class Protector award in 'The Prom also as one of my awww's.

A few others of mine are

The scene in Becoming Part 2 where Buffy tells her mum that shes the slayer and how she wishes she could be upstairs watching TV or gossiping but she has to save the world.

When Oz gives Willow the Pez witch and Willow says she has to find a pez werewolf.

In Family when Tara thinks Buffy etc are against her but Buffy says if they want to take her they have to come through her, then everyone else joins in.

When Cordy calls Harmony a sheep in 'Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered' and says she'll date whoever she likes.

When Oz leaves Sunnydale and cries in his van.

in Season 7 when Buffy makes the speech about how she had to kill Angel even though she loved him so much.

At the end of 'Forever' when Buffy breaks down.

At the end og 'Grave' when Xander tells Willow he loves her and she breaks down.
 
Mine are...

The last episode of Season 2 right after Buffy kills Angel and goes home to get her stuff to leave.

It was so sad.

Not sure if someone posted this moment yet, but it's from Same Time, Same Place when Willow is healing her stomach from when her skin was being eaten. Buffy and Willow have the cutest moment:

Willow: It just takes so much strength. I don't have that much.
Buffy: I got so much strength, I'm giving it away.
Willow: Are you sure?
Buffy: Will it help?
Willow: Much.
Buffy: Good.

i know its season 7 but it was just so sweet
 
i thought some of the moments between willow/tara were an aww moment. like you'd see em hold hands and i was like *aww, good on em* corse my mum thought i was insane. and then she went and died and that was sooo sad

i agree angelic, the speech in the gift was a sad moment and just said it all. it made me get all teary when i saw it
 
i think all the parts where giles is sad or willow are all awww moments like in passion when giles starts crying in buffys arms and when willow finds out that xander bonked faith and she was crying in the toilet,that was sooo sad!!
 
Whenever Willow cries... I cry with her. I'd bring up several "aww" moments that come to mind, but as near as I can tell they've all been accounted for.
 
the prom-when anya tries to get xander to go to the prom with her, and at the end, she seems a bit sad..or embarrest, i really feel for her.. she is so.. well, not good at expressing emotions!
( i also agree that the scene where xander tells anya how he feels is a big aw moment!)

the prom-when Buffy get's the umbrella that says class protector at the prom, that they FINALLY give her some credit for all of her work, and all that she's done for the people in that school! (i'm sitting here watching the ep right now, and i'm getting goosebumps

the relationship between Buffy and Giles... the whole fact that he cares so much about her... he is the father, her father isn't!

when that jerk uses buffy in the beginning of season 4... when all he wants from her is sex.. and she is left alittle broken.

and all the moments when xander are humiliated and when he is left feeling 2 inches high!

i also have to agree that when xander has payed for cordys dress is really a big aww....
when i think of it.. the whole ep is.

another scene is from s4 when spike can't bite Willow, and will blames herself, and she get's all sad... and he makes her happy again by telling her a very detailed memory (and it's ofical, i'm the worst explainer EVER😀 )
