Episodes You Absolutely Hate!

why doesn't anyone like gingerbread....?

Joyce is terrible and the show is just 'annoying' for that episode, it gives you that akward 'i dont wanna watch' feeling as your favorite show is being demolished. lol.

I can't stand "Ted". It's horrible in my eyes.

Hmm..Otherwise than that, I think it's half and half. Some parts of an episode is just awful, and an other part is wonderful.

I can't give you a beat by beat account of why I hate it because honestly, I can't keep awake during it. It really is by far my least favorite episode of either series. I don't know if its poor direction, an uninteresting plot, or what but nothing about this episode can keep my attention. Five minutes into the episode, I find myself looking at other things or glancing at how much time is left. It's bad. Not just by Buffy standards. By any show's standards.

The general consensus seems to be Ted. I totally agree. I could hardly watch it the first time. I probably won't watch it again.

After that though, I'd have to pick Double Meat Palace, mainly because... what in the hell is it doing in season 6? Seriously, the plot left me thinking, "what the hell is this?". When the climax results in male genitalia sprouting from an old lady's head... I'm signing off.

The Zeppo! I mean, it has funny points, but as an overall episode, I didn't love it. Maybe it's because I'm not a HUGE Xander fan. And the bad guys? Really? Making a cake? Ugg.

Hmmm... I don't hate, but my least favorites:

The Zeppo,
Inca Mummy Girl,
Reptile Boy,
Go Fish,
and most episodes with Riley 😀

Hey, at least BB is fun. How can you not love Cave!Buffy? 🙂
Can't say as much for Reptile Boy or Doublemeat Palace, both eps have hardly any redeemable qualities to me.

Cave Buffy!! Was perfect!
Strangely enough, I like this episode.
What I skip watching (I can't say I HATE any particular episode - I'm so of BTVS obsessed, I'm just bored with some of them) are:

Checkpoint, Bloodties, Into the Woods, Beneath You, Sleeper, Never Leave Me, Lie to Me, Bring On the Night, Empty Places, As You Were, Doublemeat Palace and maybe some else. (As I already said I can't tell I hate any).

Here stay aside The Body (it is a great one, strong one, but I do have my own strong issues with it).

In addition to the episodes commonly listed (IRYJ, Beer Bad, etc) there are a few eps I didn't like that might not be on anyone elses list:

Weight of the World- I don't get how someone could be in a coma-like state like that
Smashed/Wrecked- The magic as drugs analogy I hated. And they kept beating you over the head with the metaphor (magic crack house, boooo)
Gone- I didn't find it amusing one bit, and was tired of 'invisibility' episodes.
Empty Places- Everyone turning on Buffy felt really unnecessary to the story. I might have been ok with the ep if it was earlier...but 4 episodes to go in the series, and this happens? 🙁

Teachers Pet, Inca Mummy Girl, The Pack, Go Fish...

I kind of like Doublemeat Palace actually, the line about the burgers being people is excellent.

I don't hate any episodes.. but I'm not extremely fond of the 2nd season much these days, I've been watching it but more to refresh my memory.. I just feel obligated to do it lol.

I Robot, You Jane I find hard to watch. The dialogue seems really cheesy and I just get bored halfway through. With Angel I'd have to say The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco - for the exact same reasons.

Obviously I don't hate any, but for some reason Living Conditions really irks me. I don't like to say any of Season One cos the whole season was mega cheesy and I love it for that.

Most of the episodes everyone's already said would have come up but then I think, oh but that happened/was said in that episode and then I like it again!

I think Superstar was a bit lame to be honest. Jonathan is well annoying in that episode. Smug little...swear word 😀

I never really hated any episode of "Buffy," but the one that I always thought should have had a sequel revealing that it was a total hoax and a plot by a jealous boyfriend was "As You Were." There were so many things in that plot that just screamed "conspiracy," and "set up" that every time I watch it I start looking for the second rifleman on the grassy knoll. There are just too many coincidences and inconsistencies in that episode for it to possibly be real. (I know, none of the entire series was real, but you know what I mean...)

Flannen, I agree about Superstar. For some reason, I could not find it funny at all.

I hate Where the Wild Things Are, Smashed and Wrecked.

Ted has grown on me. I'm surprised to see all the hate for The Pack. I thought it was a fun ep with 'bad Xander'.
